Every aspect to make the stay being like home was provided: quality kitchen equipment, dishes, pots and pans, coffee maker, etc. linens, towels, and more. Right on the water, easy access. We can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful Christmas Gathering with Family

My husband and I took my 85-year old mother to this lake cabin for a family Christmas gathering with my two sisters, a brother-in-law and a niece. There was plenty of room for each family to have their own bedroom and bathroom. Two of our daughters and five grandchildren joined us for the day on Saturday to have Christmas with us. There was plenty of room in the Living area and kitchen/dining room for us all. The kitchen was well stocked and roomy, which made preparing food for 14 very easy. We kept a fire in the fireplace so the room was nice and cozy. There was plenty of seating at the tables (two dining tables) and in the den for us all to eat and visit. The view of the lake from this cabin is lovely. The lake can be seen from three sides of the cabin as it is on a point. Since we rented during December the water was lower than it would be in the Spring and Summer but it was still a very nice view. The screened in back porch was a great place to sit during the day when the temperatures were a little higher. Everything was very accommodating and comfortable. I loved the antique furnishings and the wood walls, ceiling, and beams. The cabin was neat and tidy, but there were a few cobwebs in hard to reach areas of the ceiling and we had trouble with the water pressure in one of the showers. All in all, we were quite comfortable and relaxed during this stay. It was truly a cabin experience. We would love to rent again.

Can’t beat the view!!

We had a Labor Day weekend staying at your cabin! We have been to Lake Martin now 4 times and this property was our favorite. The sunset view was incredible, and the house was very comfortable and homey. We had a blast running and skiing right off the dock, and the location on the lake was great for dinners out via boat, as well as access to Chimney Rock and rope swings. Our children had a blast! We would love to return.
