Both the house itself and Danny, the owner, were amazing. The house is set back enough that you’re not crowded by neighbors but close enough to town to grab a bite to eat or go shopping. It’s also close to local skiing and hiking opportunities.

This was the perfect cozy cabin for a weekend getaway in nature. We love the proximity to hiking trails, soaking in the hot tub after a day out, and waking up to coffee with a beautiful view. While we didn’t make use of the fire pit or hammocks in the warmer months we would have enjoyed that as well! Danny was very responsive and communicative. We would definitely recommend and stay again!

Very nice cabin with all you need. The hot tub was a treat and the place is secluded but close to shopping. Saw a red fox come up close and heard an owl at night. Danny was very responsive. A perfect getaway!

Had a great solo stay here while in town for business. Cozy cabin in a very private and quiet setting but close to lots of attractions and restaurants. Cozy mountain getaway!

Cozy cabin with a surprisingly roomy main living area, in a quiet, private neighborhood that was only 1-2 miles from supermarkets and restaurants. Our teen loved the upstairs bedroom and reading nook. We all loved the hot tub, hammocks, and fire pit outside! Danny, the host, reached out a few times to see if we needed anything, and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We were happily surprised at the variety of dining options in the area, especially for the picky child and food-snob vegetarian in our group. Overall, a relaxing stay in this beautiful part of the country!

Perfect for our little family

This was a cozy, private house nestled away in the mountains but very close to stores and restaurants. The owner was super attentive and had the house so nice and welcoming when we arrived. We used the hot tub, fire pit and everything he had available pretty much. We would definitely stay here again.

Had an incredible stay at this awesome A-frame loft with a always inviting hot tub! What surprised me the most was how quick this was to many serendipitous hikes by lakes and ponds, the criminally underrated Frank Frazetta museum, as well how great it is to hear a vinyl record player in a cabin The host is incredibly kind! We were in the area to visit with our daughter who attends ESU. We enjoyed our stay at Casa de Carmen. We were there for three nights. The house itself is rustic and very cute. The shower stall is very narrow and doesn’t leave room for movement. Nevertheless, we felt comfortable and enjoyed the peacefulness of the heavily wooded area. We left feeling very relaxed and rejuvenated.
