Did somebody forget to put the mattress on top of the bed spring? Genuinely curious, i was laying on pure springs. Location is convenient, just off the interstate. Dogs are allowed for a reasonable fee. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is included. I checked in around 10pm after a full day of driving. When i got to the room i was immediately shocked at how cold it was inside. I noticed a space heater set up in the middle of the room, which did not effectively heat the hotel room and would be extremely unsafe to run while sleeping. I ran the heater as long as possible but the temperature never reached a normal comfort level, and I bundled up in my sweatsuit to bed. The cleanliness is lacking. Hairs in the bathroom, fingerprints and smudges all over the mirrors. The floors in the room had not been thoroughly cleaned as there was debris under the bed and the floor by the door was sticky. After the experience in the room, i had low expectations for breakfast. Packaged items - yogurt, mini muffins, cup of fruit in syrup. I opted for a granola bar and promptly checked out. I was at this hotel for less than 8 hours and i would not return. Budget hotel or not ($75+$15pet fee), this was the worst hotel experience i have had recently. The lady at the front desk was so warm and welcoming, i wish the whole experience could have been the same. I can not recommend this hotel as there some serious issues, the heating being the biggest.

It was pretty clean, but non smoking room we stayed in smelled like smoke and then was just stinky like it was covered up. Hallways smelled like marajuana when we arrived. I felt slightly unsafe, in general, while staying here. Easy to get to and then get back onto route 80. Good price. I would pay extra to stay somewhere else next time though.

The hotel was as I expected it to be. A budget hotel isn't the most glamorous place, but it serves its purpose for a night or two. Front desk customer service was great. Very friendly and responsive. Breakfast area was clean and tidy. Free parking was ample. I also liked having a mini fridge in the room. The room was clean, but not spotless. Housekeeping was visible and working throughout our stay, which was nice to see. Checkout was a breeze and I didn't wait at all. Location is great, just off the highway and easy access to Walmart, ESU, and the hospital. As far as things that could be improved... There was a faint smoky smell on our floor, which means people weren't following the no smoking policy. There was also a wacky guest yelling in the hallway during the night, some kind of verbal altercation happening. Makes you wonder what type of characters the hotel is attracting. Maybe this says more about the guests than the hotel itself, not sure. Overall, not a bad stay but not great either. I wouldn't stay here long term, but for a night or two it would be fine for people on a budget.
