I spent 4 nights in Eindhoven at the Crown Inn. The location is excellent. It´s short distance walk from the train station and it¨s in the shopping area. The room and the aircon very very good. The staff at the reception very helful. They helped me giving all the information I needed. You have very good wifi all over. I highly recommend this hotel.
Well located hotel, but at night very noisy. We did not have airco in our room so we had to open the window, but in this way we could not sleep because of the noise of the street...we did not have any fridge in the room...otherwise we liked it. Everything is close to the hotel. Staff was good. Clean average.
Stayed for 2 nights in October when my partner was running the marathon. Lovely large room with nice bathroom. Very close to all amenities in the city loads of restaurants and shops. Hotel staff were veryhelpful and friendly throughout. They even have a shower for guests to use after yiou check out which is unusual in my experience of a city hotel. Nice bed, although maybe a bit hard for my taste, but nice all the same. Well worth a visit. Great price too! 110 pounds for 2 nights!
Clean and very well located, (right in the center), the room was very nice and tidy, and for a "fair price", comparing to the dutch standards... Only the view was a bit disappointing. But other than that, the experience was nice.
It is located at the center of Eindhoven market. You have everything in close distance the moment you come out of the door. The room is great and extremely clean. The hotel people are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good. I definitely recommend it to you.
Good location, very central in a nice square with bars & restaurants. Room was spacious and overlooked the square with a balcony. We only stayed one night but it was clean and satisfactory. We stayed on a week night but I could imagine it would be noisy in the square on a weekend so maybe one to bear in mind.
Most of the rooms face to the interior corridor. You see people passing by in front of your window. To have privacy you need to extend the curtains so it looks like sleeping in a monastery's cell. Rooms are small so you clear all the noise from the bathroom as if you were there. On the other hand, the rooms are clean, wit good equipment, very well located and the stuff looks friendly specially the new lady at the reception. My advise, do not stay there longer than a night.
Stayed at this hotel 5 or 6 times now but this will be the last. Travelling from spain with an early flight I had requested an early check in (11am) when I arived at 10:45 I was told that I could only check in after 12pm. The two reseptionists were not particularly helpful and seemed more bothered about getting on with their administration work rather than helping me. When I did get to my room I found it very basic. No drinks making facilities, just an overpriced bar in the lobby. The room was dull, grey and depressing. White stains on the red carpet and marks on yhe wall. The tv was not tuned in properly and the bathroom had only half a toilet roll. However the bed was ok, not that comfy but I got some well needed rest. I went for a drink in the bar on the front of the building but was told It was closing so I couldn't have anything, this was at 9.20pm ashame beause where we're 5 or 6 other people wanting a drink aswell. I decided to try the resturant but at looking at the overpriced basic menu I decided to get a take away and watch a film in my room. Unfortunately this was not going to happen as I was told that no food was aloud into my from incase I spill it. But I could sit in an area to eat it. The area had harsh lighting a vending machine and a pc on the floor. Just poor really. I had the feeling that I was more of a burden than a guest staff were not friendly It's a shame because I travel to the city 6-8 times a year but this is the last time I stay at the crown inn.
We stayed at this hotel in May above Reception area. The room was very small and had no ventilation. Very uncomfortable stay in this place due to heat. Very hard to find this hotel. It is within the main street of the City of Eindhoven
Good budget hotel with an excellent location in the heart of Eindhoven (located at the market square). Pubs, restaurants, and supermarkets within walking distance. The entrance to the hotel is somewhat hidden next to a restaurant. The rooms are spacious, clean, and semi-modern. The only downside of my stay was that they put me in a room at the back of the hotel. The only thing I could see from my window was a dirty loading zone. Anyway, great budget hotel for tourists (or even locals) who want to explore Eindhoven's vibrant nightlife until deep into the night.
