Perfect house for our Christmas getway! Decorated so cute for the holiday!! Host had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable…side note we are on the hunt for the mattress from the primary room…so incredibly comfortable! Already taking about making a summer trip to stay there. Would highly recommend staying here and we will be back!!

Wonderful stay at maples

This property is lovely. Very clean, very comfortable beds and pillows. Very responsive property manager. I had a bit of trouble checking in as it wasn’t clear to me that you had to enter the house through the garage. This was made trickier by the fact that my cell phone didn’t have service at the house making rereading the instructions difficult. I just would recommend the property manager make this very clear ahead of time. The lake, dock and boats were so much fun! The grill was immaculate and the house was so well maintained. We would love to come back!

Nice plane in a very wooded area

This was a very nice home located in a very wooded area with lots of privacy. It’s very nice that they let you use the garage. It makes it very convenient to load/unload your vehicles and store outdoor things. The fireplace comes with wood and is also a great feature. Would definitely come back.

Family Ice Fish 2024

Great property that fit our needs perfectly. Our group of 10 enjoyed our yearly north woods ice fishing trip on Kentuck Lake. The house was of perfect size with a comfortable bed for all. Access and parking for 5 trucks and trailers with room to spare. Use of the attached garage was great to store our ice fishing gear each evening. There was also direct access onto the lake from the property. Doug's communication was top notch! Very timely, helpful, and accommodating. Thanks Doug for hosting and assisting our great stay!

Majestic Maples is exactly what you get!

Clean, well stocked, and comfortable home on Lake Kentuck. This was is our 2nd NYE celebration and ice fishing trip with friends and kids and it didn’t disappoint. Went to Smugglers for the Best smash burger around, walked downtown Eagle River, and visited the local stores and bait shops. Great communication with owners. Thanks Doug and Tiffany! (Secretly didn’t want to write a review so I could keep it all to myself)

Awesome place to get together with family and friends

The home is very well equipped… everything from tiki torches to kayaks! The kitchen had everything you’ll ever need too! Our group consisted of three couples and three dogs. Dogs loved running and playing outside! We were so grateful to find a place to bring our pets. Very relaxing week! And it’s close enough to many bars and restaurant. Great grocery store in town. Highly recommend!

Quiet & Beautiful

The property and home are beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the house has central air. We enjoyed a quiet week with our dog, and enjoyed the peaceful lake. Highlights for the week we’re watching the baby Robbins leave their nest and watching the fox kits at play. If you visit the area, we recommend The Nutty Squirrel for their their amazing chicken wings and generous pours. The owner was available to answer questions and even let us know that the home was ready for an early arrival. We highly recommend this property.

Great week - Enjoyed the privacy.

Our host was great - Made the process very easy. Very relaxing property and cabin. Saw more bobcats than neighbors, bobcats 2, neighbors 0. Kitchen and great room was set up well for our large group. Beds were comfortable. The large garage was an additional bonus on the rainy day - lots of room to hang out and stay dry. Really enjoyed game room down stairs. Air hockey and foosball tournaments were a blast. Fishing was excellent as well.

Fantastic Cabin!

We stayed three nights here with six adults. Everyone comfortably had their own individual sleeping arrangements. This cabin was well stocked with anything and everything needed during our stay.

Second visit… it’s a tradition now!

Doug is an amazing host. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas and perfect for our family of 9 1/2. This was our second year staying here, and we have decided to make it a yearly tradition! Love the extra fridge in the garage for beverages, and the mud room with washer and dryer is a huge bonus! The adult “kids” loved having the entire lower level to hang out and play games, and we had a fire in the fireplace every day. Our family Christmas was a great success. Thanks, Doug!

Magnificent Cabin in the Woods!

This grand cabin located in the tranquility of the forest and on a lake is a fantastic relaxation getaway. Plus, it is near Eagle River where you can find restaurants and your needs. Loved our stay!

North Woods Wonder

Fabulous Getaway!

So glad we found this place! We were just around the bay from my brother’s place so the location was great. A beautiful view of the lake from the deck! Easy to spend an afternoon just sitting out there relaxing and taking in the beauty of Kentuck Lake. The owners were very easy to communicate with and the nicest people. Couldn’t ask for better hosts! The cabin is clean and has everything you would need for your stay. Very cozy, yet plenty of room to find a quiet place to read away from the noise of a large group. We enjoyed having a lower level for extra space to hang out with family who stopped to visit. We were thankful for the extra refrigerator in the garage and the ability to park in the garage. A huge plus! We had a wonderful week and look forward to our next stay!

Family get away

Wonderful property and host! Very well equipped and spacious property in beautiful setting. Having use of the attached garage to keep vehicle and sleds indoors was a pleasant bonus. Well stocked kitchen, speedy wifi, fireplace and direct tv for use after hitting the trails. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay for the Pond Hockey National Championships

My girlfriends family and I stayed here for the pond hockey national championships in Eagle river and we had a fantastic time. The house was very nice and clean and as advertised and owner was very communicative and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
