Nearby you'll find lakes for swimming, canoeing, and kayaking, as well as hiking trails through beautiful provincial forest. The Haliburton area is also know for its beaches, small-town markets, golf courses, and scenic drives. A highlight nearby is the Haliburton Forest and Wolf Centre, which is a popular destination for waking trails and wildlife experiences.
