Pool was closed but everything was nice. Rooms were clean and everything worked properly.
There were 2 women at the front desk, one was nice and polite and profesional, the other was nasty and rude. The pool door was broken so you had to walk outside and go through a patio door to get to the pool where there were zero clean towels, cigarette butts on top of the pile of dirty towels, and the actual pool was filthy. We told our kids they could swim after we finished our 9 hour drive, so my husband found a skimmer and cleaned the pool himself, and I went back to the front desk to ask for pool towels. The nasty lady was the one at the desk, she rolled her eyes, went to get towels, and then threw them down on the counter, because I guess actually handing them to me would've been too much effort. The actual room was ok. Not filthy, but definitely could've been cleaner. The tile in front of the door was completely covered in water from I'm assuming the broken refrigerator, so one of the 2 towels they gave us for 5 people went to cleaning up the water. Breakfast was pretty good, there was a decent amount to choose from so everybody left fed and happy, and the woman working there was very kind and helpful. Outside of breakfast, the rest of the hotel was pretty disappointing, definitely wouldn't come back.

Very clean and friendly staff for our late arrival. Modern and updated rooms. Easy to find off of the internet. Breakfast was small, but sufficient.
Pleasant staff. Good breakfast. Hotel was very clean and welcoming. I have taken points away because during my 2 days there, the wifi did not work and the TV had no reception. At no point could I ever connect any of my devices to the wifi, and the satff had no answer for this. They just told us sometimes you have to keep trying because it gets busy. And when you turned on the TV, "No signal" was all that came on the screen. The hotel sent a staff member to try to fix it. She was not successful. She told me that every TV is connected to a different kind of cable box and she did not know how to work on this particular one. She said she would send another staff person to look at it later, but no one ever showed up. So you could not get inetrnet or TV the entire trip. For over $100 a night in this market, these amenities should be easily accessible.
My family and I came to Dyersburg for a wedding. Seeing that Holiday Inn and Suites was the better choice between the other near hotels we decided that here would be better. I'm not saying the hotel sucked but I expected a lot more for the amount I paid for the room. The room was smaller than I antipated, the mattresses were harder than usual and the room was without base boards for the floor, making the room look very unflattering. However, the staff was awesome and the complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise. I can honestly say that overall experience was ok, but the value for the money was NOT there.
The staff and facilities made the best of a bad situation, the funeral of my mother. Most of our out-of-town guests had chosen this hotel, and we found it convenient and pleasant. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
