This property backs up to the Animas River and you have immediate access to the walking/ bike trails the run along both sides of the river. If you reserve a room on the back, you can enjoy the river view and sounds it makes. The garage for parking is a dream for anyone who worries about hotel parking lots. It was clean, safe, and secure. Although a bit pricey, it was on par with the rest of the large chain hotels. The locations was near all the Main Street venues. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This is a clean hotel, looks new or newly renovated. It is located on the river and within walking distance of the train and downtown. Our room was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable but a little tall for me. They serve a nice breakfast daily. There is a pool, gym and ample parking. I would probably stay here again if in Durango. Only real complaint is it was expensive.
