Our 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath, 2,800 square foot home is located in one of Purgatory’s newest neighborhoods located just across highway 550 from Purgatory Ski Resort and is 24 miles north of downtown Durango (less then a 30 minute drive).

Enjoy the convenience of being adjacent to the ski resort, yet the privacy and additional space of a house with a two car garage. The resort is both an amazing winter playground, and offers a wealth of all your favorite mountain activities in a cool and comfortable summer climate at 8,900 feet. For ease, there is a free on-demand shuttle in winter to the ski resort.

The home is adjacent to over a million acres of national forest land and backs one of the finest hiking trails in the area. Unlimited adventures await in the incomparable San Juan National Forest with walking access to three watersheds with abundant trout and extraordinary vistas of the Needles Mountains. The home is located near the Purgatory Flats trail head, one of the finest and most scenic hikes in the area as well as a pond for fishing, paddle boarding and a playground. In winter, there is a cross-country ski trail right out the front door.

The home is perfect for multiple families as it features living spaces and on different floors and the home has been outfitted to the be the ultimate vacation rental with a hot tub (with awesome views), gas fire pit, 2 decks, foosball and all of the usual amenities (Starlink WIFI, garage, full size washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen and the list goes on).

Master Bedroom - King Bed with TV, deck and Ensuite Bath (2nd Floor)
2nd Master Bedroom - King Bed with Deck and Ensuite Bath (Main Floor)
3rd Bedroom - Queen Bed and bunk beds (single over single) (2nd Floor)

The home is not pet friendly - please do not bring your pets. The owners brings dogs when staying at the home, so please do not book the home is if you are allergic to dogs.

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
