The double sided wood burner provides a focal point in both the living area and the lovely sun room, which has wonderful panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. Enjoy an alfresco drink or meal on the extensive patio to the front of the house, or relax in the sun in the garden area to the side.

This picturesque corner of Angus is an unspoilt delight and keen walkers can enjoy easy access to the Sidlaw path network. Auchterhouse Hill is an ideal starting point for those looking for a walk in the Sidlaws, providing panoramic views over Dundee, The Firth of Tay and beyond into the Kingdom of Fife. There are plenty of leisure and retail opportunities in the area. The city of Dundee has numerous shops, a theatre, restaurants and not to mention Discovery Point, a 5 star visitor attraction chronicling Captain Scott’s journey to the Antarctic on the research ship Discovery and the much lauded V & A Museum. Wonderful beaches at Tentsmuir, near St Andrews, and further up the coast at Carnoustie (home to the 2007 British Open), Montrose and Lunan Bay contrast with excellent walking in the Angus Glens and are all within easy reach of the property.

The accommodation was spotless with plenty of space.

The accommodation was spotless with plenty of space. With nice big log burner sitting between both sitting rooms. Wet room just off hall as you came in front door was great for cleaning the dogs. There are plenty of walks nearby. Really enjoyed our stay, will come back.

Walking into the house was amazing.

Walking into the house was amazing. It is absolutely stunning. It was roomy, cleaned to perfection and had everything we needed and more. Even though the storm was blowing outside we were all cosy inside.. We all left chilled and also got some retail therapy in Dundee. Loved it so much we re-booked for next year before we left

We absolutely loved Greenford Farm.

We absolutely loved Greenford Farm. The house is amazing. It was a lot bigger than we expected. The views from the sun room are gorgeous. The house is very well equipped and was warm and very comfortable. The log burner was great! We all loved the beds and slept well while we were there. We were celebrating our son’s 30th birthday and couldn’t have picked a better place. Felt very rural but with local amenities a few miles away and Dundee a 15 minute drive. Lovely walks from the door and lots to do nearby. We met Euan and Jenny at their farm along the road and they were lovely. Euan showed us round the farm which was great. We don’t very often go back to the same property as we like to mix it up but have booked to go back at the end of the year. A perfect property in a lovely location. Really couldn’t fault it.
