This is the first time I was staying in Mercure hotel, and the experience was good. We had the breakfast, which was having good options. As it was a holiday time, there was not mush crowd. The hotel is little far from the city. And we had to walk a little more from the tram station than expected. But overall it was a good experience.
Hotel is in a suburban commercial area with good access to public transportation. The rooms are a good size and bathroom is modern. My only complaint was that beds had thin mattresses and only one pillow and linens were pretty basic. They did bring us extra pillows when requested. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.
I used to spent here several nice nights and decided therefore to invite business friends here for a meeting, snack and cafe. Several people from the hotel saw us sitting and waiting - but had been very busy with checking their printers and offices but did not take care about us here thirsty and starving. After 30 min we decided to leave. I wont choose this hotel again. The service seems to be lost.
This is a business hotel located little outside the main city centre. It take about 15 to 20 min to reach Dusseldorf Hbf . Guest rooms are average sized. The breakfast menu is average with very limited options. There was a day during 3rd week of Oct 2017 during my stay when all the members of cafeteria were on leave for a sports event and there was nothing in breakfast menu other than bread and coffee....that is a not a good standard expected from a business hotel. The gym and sauna are okay, but they are in very secluded area of property, so if you get hurt and need help in fitness center then your voice will not reach to reception easily, mobile network almost disappears when you visit fitness centre.
Great hotel for business with good value for money, very varied breakfast, good restaurant and large bright meeting rooms. Large and clean rooms, bathroom a bit small. Close to the airport and the fair, I would recommend this hotel....!!!
This is a lovely clean hotel with plenty of space in the rooms. Easy access to the metro in to Dusseldorf town which is 10 mins away on the metro. Restaurant was nice as was the breakfast. If you need a receipt for car park only pay at reception as I only found out 2 days later.
Stayed 5 nights for business Room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast and dinner was okay. The customer service could of been better, a couple of issues throughout my stay That could of been resolved a bit quicker
I was staying here one night for business. The room was very spacious, clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and huge. My colleagues said the breakfast is also good, but I didn't have time to try it. Maybe next time. It was very quite, I had a good sleep there.
Good location, clean, convenient. Price was a bit high for what it offers but during the period most hotels seemed to be busy so I guess there was some big event which might have influenced it. Food in the restaurant was also good. The best part in my opinion was the staff. Very friendly and helpful.
Athough I received a message, that as a Silver member of Le Club Accorhotels, I can keep my room for longer on the day of my departure, I had to leave the room before 12.00 AM. I certainly do not have to stress that I was disappointed with the hotel.
