I stayed here for Business and found it to be a very good Business hotel. Rooms are large, bathrooms are American style with large tubs and showers. Staff is very good. Hotel has a good restaurant on site, Julian’s and I had a good breakfast, nice lunch. Tomato soup was very good and served hot. Overall staff is very good met on arrival by a professional and friendly desk staff. Easy to get to appointments from this location. This is a clean and very good choice.
I am staying here quite often for business. Quick check-in process. The rooms are always top notch. There is really only one thing...in the breakfast restaurant is ONLY ONE SINGLE coffee maker where you have to wait in line if its a little busy there. I am sure a 2nd one could improve the whole situation. Otherwise its all good!
Had working session in conference center and stayed in the hotwl for 4 days. Rooms was compact, but sufficient for single person. The restaurant had limited options, so was little boring for dinner. The breakfast had a good spread which remained same all the days. The old town is quite easily reachable by U-bahn from just opposite to the hotel.
Normally when I come to Dusseldorf, I stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Hafen, but this time I decided to try something new and am glad I did. This hotels is a little bit faster to get to Altstadt (old town area) and HbF (Central Station) than the Hafen hotel, thanks to the U77 direct line. Also, the Hafen hotel never honored my requests for a high floor room, despite being an Elite Marriot Rewards member. This hotel got me a top floor room with a nice view, and the check in process was much smoother and quicker than the Courtyard in Hafen. The gym is more spacious at this hotel too, and the treadmills are great. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and so are the rooms. There is a 24 hour Rewe To Go at a gas station that is a 6 minute walk away, if you need anything. The lobby of this hotel is small, but nice looking.
We stayed here for Christmas market , its long way to city center, rooms are not updated - old school carpet and furniture. The view was just buildings, it gave me a feeling of being in kind of a business building park or prison. The whole atmosphere in the hotel was uncomfortable . Breakfast were okay, but not special. In general not bad ,I would definitely rather choose (at this price range ,executive room)a better hotel closer to city etc
We came this hotel for busines. Rooms are clean breakfast is very good. Staff was very kindly. Mr fethi helped to us. Everything is ok.if ı Come to düsseldorf ı can stay this hotel.i advice to everyone
Good place to stay for a weekend trip. Free parking just outside and the tram as well. Rooms are clean, nothing special. Breakfast is good, again nothing special but perfect for a weekend away in town and a comfortable, clean place to sleep at night.
Nice clean, modern hotel and the staff spoke English well. The room was a good size. Very quiet, except that no fewer than 3 or 4 different people came to the room during the day to check on it - cleaners, mini-bar re-fill, etc. In terms of a good night's sleep, it was very quiet - we heard no one or nothing. My husband was in town on business, and both of us (him for work and me for sight-seeing) got around exclusively on the train or tram. They were clean, timely, and only crowded at rush hour (sometimes oppressively so). To get to the nearest station, go out the front door of the hotel and turn right. The restaurant was expensive and nothing special. Our service was poor more often than it wasn't. I'd recommend eating elsewhere - there's a bakery around the corner that would work for breakfast and/or lunch, a wonderful Italian restaurant for lunch or dinner, and again - by public transportation you can get anywhere you want. I ended up walking to a small grocery and bringing home cereal, milk, fruit, juice, etc. so that I could have breakfast in the room each day. The convenience of the hotel restaurant is nice, but you'll do better dining elsewhere, in my opinion. We had done 2 weeks of European travel prior to our arrival at this hotel, so we had quite a bit of laundry to do. The hotel doesn't have a self-service option, and I didn't want to pay to have it done, so I took the train and then walked a few blocks to a self-service laundry. I was able to figure out the vending machine and the washers and dryers without reading German, and the laundromat was clean and I felt safe. (If you find yourself interested in doing your own laundry, google "Dusseldorf self service laundry", and in 2015 someone wrote up a great review here on TripAdvisor that helped me tremendously! For starters, the term you want to find the laundromat is "SB Waschsalon". )
I spent a really good 3 days business trip is Dusseldorf because the hotel was perfect. Clean and comfortable, the breakfast was also perfect with a wide range of foods and drinks. It was easy to get the city with public transport (tram). The staff was nice and helpful. The view from the hotels window was not the best but the place is quiet.
Yes the carpet in the room could be replaced to create a more fresher look. Besides this my room on floor 10 was large with comfortable beds. I had two good nights of rest. Dinner was tastfull and breakfast was more the ok. An omelett will be made on request, enough choice. Friendly staff. A petty you have to pay for the parking.
