While it is away from the Old City, it sits on a hill overlooking the water. We enjoyed the rooms, breakfast buffet and the lobby bar emptying onto a huge outdoor patio. The lobby is beautiful as are the rooms. And it is situated above a park with an excellent restaurant. Really enjoyed our stay here.
The minute I walked into the lobby of this special hotel I felt like I was on vacation. It is attractive, quiet and with beautiful views of the lake and the castle. All you have to do is walk outside and you are taken into a new world. The rooms are large and clean and up to date with everything you need to make this a special stay.
Very clean, warm welcome, friendly and efficient staff. There was an issue with some bathroom equipment during my stay, I complained about it and it was solved immediately. Near a beautiful and almost exclusive beach. Warning, wear sandals! The beach has no sand, it is a gravel beach. getting into the old town is easy, just pick number 6 bus and it will drop you at the main gate of the old town 10 minutes later.
We stayed here for a week. It is priced as a 5 star but just misses the boat. The service is ok but not up to scratch for a 5 star. We ate in the evening on 2 occasions at different restaurants within the hotel and both times it was disappointing. The restaurant down by the beach was ok but for the money not worth it. This was supported when we ate out on the other nights and had some amazing food. The buffet meal had a lot of choice but was not tasty. Mass produced and not great. The breakfast was ok. A huge range of food. The pool area is very nice with a great view over the bay. We had a massage in the spa which was nice. It is a short bus ride to the old town so location is ok. We would not go back.
This hotel is a well maintained 5 Star hotel at the end of the bus line, an easy and inexpensive access to Old Town Dubrovnik. It’s very convenient since it’s at the end of the public bus line which means no worrying about where to exit the bus NOR no worry about boarding a crowded bus...it’s also the FIRST stop! Tickets for this bus can be purchased in the hotel store. All the hotel rooms face the water giving you beautiful views twenty-four hours a day. The hotel is entered on the seventh floor and all the rooms are at lower levels. The rooms are well appointed and the staff, from the front desk to the restaurant are cordial and helpful. We had breakfast every morning...everything fresh and nicely presented. Without a doubt, I would return to this hotel and this lovely part of the world.
We spent a week in the hotel in the middle of October. We were delighted with the room, very modern, clean and well kept. Views were to die for from the room and the public areas. The staff all went out of their way to be helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was very big but after an initial flurry of people clamouring for food things settled down and it was a pleasant experience. The swimming pool area was very nice, no problem getting a sun lounger at this time of year. We walked into the Old Town a couple of times, took just over an hour, however, the no. 6 bus stopped outside the hotel and finished it's journey just outside the walls so very easy to get there if you did not want to walk.
This was our first hotel based holiday after many years of cruising and we cannot fault the experience. The hotel and staff were excellent at all times. Ivan and his restaurant team ensured we were well looked after even on the busiest of evenings/mornings. A special mention needs to go to Mirna for her warm welcome each day and Dura for his great service. The hotel itself has a beautiful position on the end of the peninsula which provides great views and stunning sunsets. The local bus stop is directly across the road and this can be used to easily get to Dubrovnik Old Town and back. There is also a lovely coastal walk into Lapad and the local bar and restaurant areas. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and we will certainly be making a return visit. Thank you for a fantastic holiday.
Well appointed rooms with excellent friendly and attentive staff. Great views from the rooms for watching all the boats and yachts including oligarchs palaces and large cruise liners. Nice outdoor pool with a large indoor spa and pool. From the large part terrace part indoor breakfast restaurant a magnificent breakfast to suite every trace. Beware Korean queues when they are leaving. Couldn’t fault the staff. Had an issue with the room safe which was eventually sorted, I made a quip they owed me a beer for having to stay in the room for a while. Went out, got back to a bottle of wine and fruit basket. I knew the place would not be cheap for Food and drink but that’s what you need to realise fo a 5 Star Hotel If I ever went back to Dubrovnik I would have no problem staying here again.
We were part of a tour group that used this hotel for a 3 night stop. Not your usual tour group hotel and that's a good thing. First off, the views are awesome with large lounge balconies and each cruise ship must pass for inspection. Beach, Azure sea, Islands left, center and right - check. The room was fine - usual CNN International English TV channel which is drivel. We were on the go most of the time - so no spa or massage time. The beach did get used as the weather was beautiful. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the Old Town and the municipal bus service is fast and frequent. The main buffet / breakfast restaurant is large, comfortable, many choices, good service and tasty food. Service and staff was friendly, attentive and efficient.
We had a really nice week in this hotel. Nice room with large garden/balcony area and great sea view. Hotel is in a good location with nice private beach (albeit stoney) and fantastic views. Made use of facilities such as gym the pools both indoor and outdoor and hot tub. All good. Breakfast is fantastic and dinner good quality if you like a buffet. Bar prices a bit high but we found a lovely walk along sea front with really nice bars and restaurants 10 mins away. Same route also makes a great scenic morning jog round the peninsula. Also used the shared clay floodlit tennis courts. Again good quality, nearby and booked through reception. 5 mins walk. Great location for visiting Dubrovnik area...which is amazing. Bus into city took 15 mins and right outside hotel.
