Incredible location, attentive staff, very clean. Breakfast served with a view:) Spa staff was very helpful and talented! Would definitely recommend!

Very dated and tired property. The view is the only nice feature.

We stayed two nights in the Grand Villa Argentina and had better experience than we expected. We were surprised that our room got upgraded when we arrived at the hotel. We stayed in the old part of the hotel and felt comfortable since the room appears to be renovated. The bathroom are spacious and clean. The window is old style but with panoramic and spectacular ocean view. You can also find the ocean and old city view in the dining area. The location of the hotel is also very convenient with walking distance to the old city. If you do not want to walk, you can take bus in front of the hotel and a few minutes ride will bring you to the old city. Actually, we took one of the bus to the Bus station. The staff are nice and helpful. The breakfast is good. So I can recommend the hotel without any hesitation to everyone who want to visit Dubrovnik.

This hotel is lovely with a great location. It took 10 minutes to walk to the entrance of the old city, and is right over the ocean with two pools (one outside one inside). The included buffet breakfast was delicious and all the wait staff were friendly and helpful. The transportation person in the lobby went above and beyond out of her way to help me with making travel arrangements from a canceled flight. I enjoyed everything about my stay and even stayed an extra day.

Good location away from the crowds and noise but still close enough to get to them if you want. Beautiful grounds. The swimming area is lovely and has a great Meditteranean feel. Swim in the pool or in the ocean if you want. Rooms are comfortable and I like that they give slippers and robes. The free breakfast has a good variety. You can make your own mimosas and order coffee any way you like it ( we got caffe lattes) and there's a small section for gluten free diets.

Better than expectations although they first put us in a dark, no view room. Moved us the next night. Beware when you sign up for that standard room!

Truly lovely, comfortable, great views, terrific breakfast and swimming!

Everything is perfect except the bath shower always leaks.

The location was excellent--walkable to old town without being stuck inside of it. Parking was free and close by. Rooms are small but clean.

Got a great, off-season discount for this luxurious villa just a 10minute walk overlooking the water from the northeast gate of Dubrovnik. A full, delicious breakfast was included, and the lunch (not included) was pricey but tasty. Plenty of amenities and the room was perfectly clean and spacious.

Pros: Hotel was in a great location just a short walk from the old town. Pool area was beautiful, and you can just jump off and swim in the ocean right there. View is breathtaking. Hotel grounds were beautiful. Breakfast was nice (bread, cheese, scrambled eggs, sausage, champagne!), and the outside breakfast area had a stunning view. Room was clean and comfortable. Cons: Staff was a bit short with us and not very warm. This was in contrast to staff we encountered at previous hotels in Hvar and Split. Rooms were supposed to look classic elegant but instaed looked a bit worn and dated. This is why I only gave 4/5 for value for money. This hotel is expensive, so I expected slightly nicer rooms. Overall a great experience, though, and I would definitely go back.

This is the perfect hotel for both relaxing and visiting the walled city. Quick walk to the city gate. Very nice place to sit by the water and swim (but both pools are very cold, stick to the sea). Beautiful views all around!!
