The view from this hotel of the Adriatic is so perfect that it made it difficult for us to leave and go sightseeing in Dubrovnik. Every room has a view of the sea (though try to get a higher floor since some views are partially obstructed). This is luxury. The lavish breakfast from the Elfiti room had one of the most breathtaking views, we would linger for breakfast forever. Rooms are modernized (ignore all negative reviews from previous posts, all rooms have been upgraded and look fantastic!) The bus literally is outside of the hotel, taking you directly to the old city in less than 15 min, it could not be more convenient. Our hint: Relax and enjoy the sun and pool during the day, head over to the old city around 4-5 to avoid the crowds from the cruises. This is perfection.
Could not have asked for a nicer stay. Every room with a view. Each room quite tastefully done. Good size. Delicious and full breakfasts beautifully displayed. Staff was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. Only a few minutes away from the old city via a bus that stopped right in front of the hotel. We arranged tours through their tour desk that were first rate too.
We had a fantastic time at this hotel. It's located outside the main tourist area of Dubrovnik, so it was much more relaxed. Service was great.
The hotel provided a misleading description of the room which resulted in a sofa bed instead of a bed for one family member. When confronted and showed them clear description on my reservation of two beds, they refused to acknowledge or take any action to correct this. Also, the hotel was very busy and no lounges at the pool available. Also, the hotel is quite far from the old city and a public bus is needed which was full of people and unpleasant.
This is higher priced for Dubrovnik but not outrageous, and a lovely place with lots of inclusions, including the rooftop pool with free drinks! (non a)
The location is about a ten to 15 minute bus ride from the old center which turned out to be an easy venture on either the hotel bus or public bus.The only problem with the hotel bus is that they were not timely in their pick up schedule. The location is good in that it gets you away from the huge crowds in Dubrovnik's center.Meals at the hotel are expensive.
my husband,me and my two children(ages 27 and 18) we enjoyed our stay very much. The food, inside and outside pool everything. The weather was a little cool so we couldn't enjoy the sea.Maybe next time!
