Basic and Noisy

Upon booking, I asked a question and it was responded to an under a minute. That was the last good service I received. The check-in was a little awkward as the individual who met me was extremely young. The lockbox for the key did not give you the option to reset the code, and it made me uncomfortable as to how many people might know the code so I kept my key with me. The entryway had an exterior door and entrance to two units within. Even if I locked the exterior door, the other occupants could then leave it open again. The neighborhood did not seem terrible, but it also did not seem great. The unit was quite clean and the AC worked. The bed was adequate but again not great. When I decided to stay in Dubrovnik an extra night, I did not genuinely want to stay in that room again, but I also didn’t want the hassle of lugging my luggage all over Dubrovnik. When the manager failed to respond to me for well over an hour about availability, even after a call to my booking app, she did me a favor. That night, the building itself was very noisy, and the occupants across the hall from me were very loud in the middle of the night and continued to make noise for quite some time. I changed rooms and moved within old town.
