What an amazing hotel - it’s absolutely stunning. 4 of us stayed here mid April to celebrate a birthday. My sister ordered a cake for her room to surprise her other half to find a complimentary bottle of fizz to go with it (a very nice touch, thankyou!) The staff were so friendly and nothing was ever too much, they were always polite and you were always greeted with a smile. The rooms were lovely and the views were incredible!! We even got access to their other hotels to use the gym while theirs was being built which was very accommodating! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay while in Dubrovnik, it is a little way out from the centre but there is a bus stop next to the hotel that runs every 15 minutes which is very handy. Thank you all so much for a wonderful stay & should be ever visit Dubrovnik again, we will definitely be back!

Lovley hotel outside Dubrovnik. You can take bus 6 to old Town or to one of the shoping center. Nice and Clean rooms. Lovely breakfast! We had the buffé for dinner 3 Days and the pizza was great!!! Lovely pool !!!

My daughter and I spent a wonderful time last summer in this hotel. Great location. I recommend that you do a few of the organised trips on offer...we spent one day visiting some of the islands including Ston and Korcula (where Marco Polo once lived). There is a bus costing 12 kuna or £1.40 will take you to the old city of Dubrovnik. It's worth doing the Tuk Tuk tour which includes an on-foot visit this amazing city with the guide. We were lucky as there were no cruise ships visiting when we were there, apparently each ship contains up to 3,000 it could be very busy.

First impressions of this hotel are stunning. What a great modern refurbishment. Our room was stunning with a side sea view and a balcony. The view was worth it. I’d hate to get a room on the bottom floor with no private space and would not want a garden view. The library and garden area is beautiful. The staff are friendly but when we asked questions they didn’t know the answers and had to get the manager to answer. But they had only been working there a week. Drinks are expensive but not drastically different to the town or the little local area next to the hotel. A 50cl beer was 38kn and in town would be about 34kn. 65kn for a cocktail. One thing that did bug me was the different drinks prices between the company’s hotels. They are all so close together but because of the star rating the prices increase. Given we had to use the hotel President to access a peaceful swimming pool, (building work going on in ours) I didn’t appreciate having to pay more. After reading the review that a guy got a reduction for raising the building work issues, I feel sad that I didn’t now. I didn’t see the point, they weren’t going to stop building because I wasn’t informed about it before coming. As for the good, the look of this hotel Is stunning. The food was always fresh. Good array of food. The chefs are always looking at replacing empty trays. The waiters are attentive and set the table for you. Just because it’s early in the season can I suggest you don’t pile up the outdoor chairs on the tables. Really spoiled my dinning view. It is a quite hotel with live singers and music for the evening. Once the pool and works are done this will be a peaceful retreat. We were thankful for the spa as we used this a lot. Shame about the steam room not working. Also the fridge in the room is full of stock to buy. Someone comes in each day and reseals it up. I never use the mini bar however I would like to put a bottle of water in the fridge to be cool this stopped us. Maybe ask the guests if they want the mini bar stocked or not. Over all We spent more time out of the hotel and saw more of Dubrovnik Once the works are done we would happily return to this hotel. I’d pick this one over the President but if you have children hotel Lacroma Dubrovnik is for you. In all this hotel will be perfect in not too near future x

I want to give it a 5 but I have a feeling once the works on the second pool are finished it would be totally deserving of a 5. Reception staff, bar staff, restaurant staff all really friendly and very helpful. The views alone are amazing and people should take the time to watch the sunset from the pool area!! Definitely recommend and look forward to staying again!

Recently spent 4 nights at this hotel with friends. Absolutely fantastic place with lovely, friendly and extremely helpful staff and great food. There was some construction work going on by the outdoor infinity pool but that didn't affect us in any way. The local bus to the magnificent OLD TOWN picks up and drops off a very short walk away from this hotel and you can buy discounted bus tickets from the hotel shop. I would definitely recommend this hotel to couples or friends looking for somewhere nice to stay in Dubrovnik.

We holidayed here from 12-19th April. Whilst the majority of the upgrades are finished the 2nd pool wasn’t quite finished. However, we still had a great time. Our room was fresh and clean, lovely walk in shower. Small balcony with table and two chairs and a side view of the sea - even though we hadn’t booked one. Buffet style in the restaurant, we found it easier to go slightly later to Dinner after the coach tour guests had finished, and it was much quieter. The restaurant staff were all friendly and happy to talk about their lovely country. The restaurant manager was very personable, checking every day that we were happy, and giving us an update on the alterations to the pool and the new eating area, and even making us fresh orange juice for our last breakfast. We found that speaking a little Croatian went along way. I Googled “Hello, Thank You, Good Morning” etc, not sure about our pronunciation but they seemed to understand me ☺️. The hotel is well placed for catching the No6 bus to the old town, and visiting the small beaches nearby, all within short walking distance. The is a small shopping area next to the hotel with bars, restaurants, souvenirs and mini market. The only downside I could mention is the Coach Tours reception desk in the main foyer. When the guests are waiting at it, the foyer becomes very noisy and you struggle to be heard by the hotel receptionists. 4 coach loads of tourists can be quite a handful! We loved the hotel, it was very spacious and we never felt overcrowded, that said we were at the start of the season, I’m not sure what it would be like in high summer. I hope the final alterations are finished soon and we look forward to going back next year to see the results.

Such a beautiful hotel! Amazing rooms, gorgeous views and very friendly and helpful staff. Spent a week here and was very sad to go home! Lovely private beach, the infinity pool was breath taking. Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

I have stayed here before and was really looking forward to the refurbishments inside and outside the hotel. It is in a perfect location if you are visiting Dubrovnik for both sightseeing and relaxing. Unfortunately, I arrived to find that although the inside of the hotel is beautiful refurbished with a real modern Scandi feel and lots of little areas to sit and relax, the new outside area with additional pool was not anywhere near being finished. So although I had a fantastic room the incomplete renovations outside impacted throughout my stay as work started really early every day and was noisy. The dining terrace wasn't available at all where I had really enjoyed the views and sunsets last time. The deputy manager was very good and did what he could including a reduction but it definitely wasn't the experience I had hoped for and looked forward to. The food is excellent and the beaches round about have been upgraded and will be lovely when they are open.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel in June 2017. We absolutely loved staying here! The food is amazing, so much choice and all cooked fresh in front of you. I still dream about the food now!! An added bonus is that the Hotel has the most amazing views, especially for the sunset. One evening, we stayed in the pool to watch the sunset which was lovely!. We found Croatia to be quite expensive - think £8 for a cocktail which to us is London prices. You don't really expect to pay £8 for a cocktail abroad so if your planning on eating out every night make sure you have plenty of £££. We tend to venture out and eat out on Holidays, but due to the great food and amazing sunset we ate at the hotels most nights as the city center could not beat what we had. I would highly recommend googling the restaurant Panorama. It's amazing, The restaurant is on mountains as you have a great view of all of Dubrovnik. Email to book a table at the front of the restaurant to get a great table with a great view. The hotel did not have too much of a night life. The hotel's nightlife suited more of the older generation with live signers and musical bands. We liked it but not really for the young. I would defiantly recommend staying here.
