We had a great stay at the Marriott Marquis Dubai Creek. The hotel is conveniently located close to a nearby mall and offers plenty of restaurant options, plus a convenience store right in the hotel, which was very helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the staff was attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. A highlight was the incredible view of the Burj Khalifa fireworks on New Year’s Eve, which made the experience even more special. Overall, a comfortable and well-located hotel with excellent service.

The food is varied, fresh, can be customized. The property is a quiet, centrally-located, upscale area. The staff, especially Jone, Che, Fernando, and others are accommodating, courteous, gentle, wise problem solvers, guest-satisfaction-oriented, effective, and like no other hotel staff I have ever dealt with. The staff and their plush property floored me and my family. Their New Year’s gala was opulent and lively. We don’t regret not being at the Burj Khalifa for the fireworks spectacle because the Marriott Marquis Dubai Creek made our New Year’s celebration indelible.

5* building + 2* staff = 3.5* hotel. Gorgeous property, horribly trained staff. Dismissive, arrogant, unresponsive, prejudiced, unhelpful, unskilled, uninformed, uneducated, and at times WILDLY inappropriate. Not even close to a 5* experience. Fortunately, UAE has incredibly strict laws regarding hotel ratings, so this one will be corrected. We cannot in good conscience recommend this property to anyone until there is a major staff shake up, starting with the management. Service is truly that bad. Quite sad to see such potential in a physically stunning development go to absolute waste. Don’t be fooled like we were. You need to look elsewhere if you wish to get a 5* stay. Good Luck.

The hotel itself is excellent and very friendly staff. However there is construction around and not much in way of restaurants at least in walking distance.
