Holiday Inn Sheffield

Weird but wonderful

This is the third year running my family and I have stayed at the hotel. We will continue to do so as long as my daughter or I fence - we have come to compete at the National Fencing Championships, held each July in Sheffield. The staff are exceptionally friendly, and we were happy to step over slightly inebriated guests, there to celebrate a wedding, in two out of our three stays!

Hampton By Hilton Sheffield

Great Experience

Liked Everything in this Hotel, Staff are very friendly and professional. Breakfast is good. Hampton is the best in Sheffield with the price you are paying, i have stayed in other hotels with same price rates, but they made me feel am in hostel not a hotel. My experience with Hampton made extend my stay.

Best Western Plus Kenwood Hall Hotel

A comfortable hotel

The hotel is well placed, but the beds need to be updated, as the mattresses feel like they are from the 1970s. Also, the rooms do not have individual climate control, so you are beholden to what the rest of the hotel is set to.

ibis Chesterfield Centre – Market Town

Very conveniently located and inexpensive

I spent 3 nights here recently, when I returned to my hometown of Chesterfield to visit family and friends. The ibis is very conveniently located close to the centre of Chesterfield, but you have to take your life in your hands if you want to walk into town. There are no pedestrian crossings nearby, and the road and roundabout that you have to get across are both very busy. The hotel is nothing fancy, but it was clean, comfortable and pretty spacious. It was a little noisy one of the nights, which I don't think was helped by the ability for people to wander about in the elevator and along the corridors with pints of beer in their hands.
