Original listing had cowboy pool which was no longer there. New hot tub was installed and took about 22 hours to heat up to 96 degrees from 77 degrees which was temp on day of check-in. Prop manager couldn’t offer much other than letting the owner know and offered 20% discount which I’m sure I won’t receive since I requested more since the reason we close this location was because of the heated cowboy pool that was no longer there. Basically the first night of anticipated heated pool didn’t happen. If you are looking for this place because of the hot tub, make sure owner has updated the dual heater for the hot tub since it is on a 110 volt. I hate that we were the guinea pigs for this.

Cute casita

My family and I stayed at La Lynda for a few nights to get away from Houston. It was my husband, our 3 teens (13, 14, and 16) and myself. The kids loved the hammock, cowboy pool, and watching movies. My husband and I liked it as well and made use of the grill. We loved how secluded the property was.However, I think it could have been cleaned a little better. There were cobwebs, dust, and hair in corners and crevices, especially in the loft. It was also hot in the loft area and the fan they had provided didn’t work. The communication with the property management was excellent and quick, and overall we enjoyed our stay.

driftwood stay

Its a nice tiny house. Very clean. The pool pump wouldn't come on and the communication was not that good. We had spent the day in Wimberley and wanted to get in it but the maintenance person didn't come until the next day. It ended up being a tripped ground fault in the BATHROOM.

Tiny house retreat

The tiny house was great. It was perfect for my wife and I and our dog. The house was very well laid out and equipped with everything that we needed. We liked the remoteness as we have a dog that barks a lot around other people and dogs. The bed was comfortable. The shower was great and the AC worked excellent. Those are our three big things on any trip. We really enjoyed it and recommend it to anybody Looking for a tiny house in the area. We also enjoy the cowboy pool. It was perfect for what I wanted. It was close to a number of good restaurants and attractions and served the purpose for everything that we wanted and needed. Very clean and comfortable.

Wonderful!

Loved our little tiny house! Bed was super cozy, location was great and the amenities were awesome(these folks know how to make you feel welcome)! The cowboy pool was greatly appreciated! My husband and I had a wonderful time. The property has everything you need! Highly recommend!

Old Friends Reuniting

Overall Experience was GREAT. We decided to stay an extra night and they made it easy to do. We enjoyed everything, we appreciated how equipped the unit was with all the little amenities, we had brought extra in case it wasn't provided so we left our supplies for the next guest. Loved that it had a great washer & dryer. We loved the fire pit and appreciated the wood logs that were left for us. We made all of our meals over the fire pit. Roasted marshmallows and s'mores. Used the cowboy pool, which was wonderful, with any hot tub use with caution, water was quite filmey once bubbles started it cleared up. Watched scary movies on the TV provided used our own apps. Several outside party lights were burned out, not complaining just letting you know to be replaced, the only honest complaint my friend and I had were that that actual quilt like blankets didn't seem to have been washed nor had the pull out couch protective cover was honestly pretty gross. But aside from that, it was an amazing time & stay and we'd do it again.

Perfect Isolated Retreat

We live close by but wanted a get away to disconnect and just relax. The cowboy pool was awesome. The property was very isolated but close enough to get to restaurants if we wanted. Great weekend.

Couples Staycation

This was such a great place to disconnect and relax. Very quiet and peaceful. The cowboy pool and fire pit were amazing. You are close to wineries, breweries and distilleries. Would come back again.

Great Tiny Home Experience

What a fun place to stay! The outdoor amenities were lovely, the inside of the home was cute as could be!The home has a truly fully stocked kitchen with good quality pots, pans, and utensils. The sheets and towels were also comfortable and good quality. The hot water was nice and hot and the WiFi worked well. I appreciated that it’s a pet friendly rental. It was nice to have a getaway for the whole family. The only issue I had was being able to find the outdoor trash bin but that was very minor. I loved my stay and would come back!
