This cabin is exactly as advertised. It was so warm and cozy and my gosh so clean! It was located close to the warerfront area with the shops and restaurants but also close to the interstate to get to other places we wanted to see. The patio was fabulous and relaxing and the neighborhood quiet and lovely. We saw deer right outside the patio. So awesome. Would 100% stay here again. Our email came from the owner 1 week before the trip with everything we needed to know. What a fabulous trip and a great place to come home to and relax in the evening. Everything you could need was provided inside. Many thanks to the owner for making it so nice for their guests!

This is a charming cottage with all the necessary modern amenities for a lovely stay in Douglas. It is extremely close to water/public beach access and is tucked away in the quiet woods. We enjoyed the screened in porch where we sat and listened to squirrels and wildlife. Highly recommend for a cozy getaway.

This is a wonderful cabin in a great neighborhood. Convenient location; short walk to Douglas Beach, and short drive to multiple areas in nearby Saugatuck and Fennville. The cabin is very clean and we love staying there and enjoying meals on the porch.

Initial impression was very positive. The property had a great lock that made entrance secure and easy. Furniture was comfortable, clean, and in good condition. We had a few questions at the beginning and we had an immediate answer and response from the host. Staying here was a part of a very good vacation.

Get Away With Spouse

The cabin is a little smaller than we expected but very comfortable, peaceful and in a very nice location. The screened-in porch was fantastic and where we spent the most time. A lot of fun things to do and places to go nearby, including the beach and beautiful walking paths.

Walk to the Beach

This is a simple cabin with a wonderful screened in porch. If you are tall, the cabin may seem a bit claustrophobic. Plenty of room for our family of 3 plus a teenage friend that tagged along. Great location with walking distance to Douglas Beach. We also walked down to the Douglas root beer barrel and saw 12 to 15 deer to and from the cabin. Then we sat down to games out on the street porch and had a visit from a beautiful doe. It’s a simple cabin but provided everything we needed including extremely comfortable beds and a very quiet evening. The owner is great and responsive. Really recommend staying in this area and visiting Douglas Beach and the local restaurants and groceries.

Fantastic family time!!

We loved this cozy cottage! Clean; very well equipped cottage; beautiful, clean grill; lovely screened in summer porch/room. Everything was great. We made some wonderful memories here. Close to the beach, saw deer every morning & evening, lovely sunsets. I highly recommend this property & Erica was great to work with.

Delightful cabin!

We stayed over Labor weekend for our wedding anniversary. The area was so cute, quieter than busy Saugatuck with the most amazing sunsets a short walk away at Douglas beach!

Location! Rustic but clean and comfy

Ideal location walking distance to beach and a few shops/reataurants. Best part is screened in porch with wildlife (deer) visits and sounds of the lake. Old cabin, but good furniture.

Perfect setting for a family of 4! 5 minute walk to the beach.

Loved, loved, loved the quiet wooded setting. The screened porch was great for morning coffee and family dinners. The grill and kitchen made it super convenient to have some meals at the house. Well stocked cookware. Saugataco is a must!

Beautifully located, cozy cabin close to the lake!

This little cabin was perfect for our family. The screened in outdoor room was amazing! The neighborhood was clean and quiet, with a short walk to the beach. The cabin was very clean with all the amenities needed, to include towels for the beach. It was so wonderful! We would definitely stay again!

July 4th Holiday Weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quiet cozy cabin on a busy holiday weekend. It is located on a beautiful, wooded lot with easy access to Lake Michigan. The home is clean and very comfortable. We made use of the screened porch and outdoor gas grill. Our host Erica was very communicative and friendly. There is so much to do in the surrounding area. Highly recommend this for a holiday getaway!
