Feel like you're at the beach without the pesky sand when you spend your time in the light and breezy seaside themed Lake Life Getaway! Get away from it all and spend your time relaxing in this adorable 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo. The minute that you take that first step inside, bright inviting colors envelop you and any stress or tension that you may have had is dissolved.

The Space:

If you’re an early riser, you can revel in the quiet tranquility of the private screened in porch off the dining room with it’s comfortable chairs and couches. This area is also great for playing games with your friends and family in the evening with just a quick slide of the privacy curtains. There is plenty of seating for everyone both inside and out for those evenings when you just want to stay in and order takeout from one of Douglas’ many local restaurants. And if you get so busy enjoying the company and the space that the night gets late, you can just open up the pull out sofa and cozy up into the warm blankets with a movie in the beachy themed living area.



The condo is centrally located, making it the perfect spot for access to the gorgeous sands of the Lake Michigan coastline or take an easy walk to enjoy downtown Douglas. Douglas is home to some of the best art galleries in West Michigan including J. Petter Galleries and The Button Gallery. It is only a short jaunt to the Douglas Beach Park and you can spend your day soaking up the sunshine and end your evening reveling in one of our breathtaking West Michigan sunsets.



Minutes from Saugatuck and Holland and a short drive from Grand Rapids, you will have every dining and entertainment option imaginable. West Michigan is known for its breweries and restaurants that go up and down the coastline. Less than 15 minutes away from your beachy getaway you will find the apple orchards and wineries of the Fennville area including Fenn Valley, Modales, Cranes and Tanglewood to name a few.

My wife and I were thoroughly satisfied with our stay in Douglas. The rental contained all the things we needed in the kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom and as an added bonus, the screened-in-porch which faced the sunrise! Very clean, very close to downtown Douglas (2 blocks from pizza!), 2 blocks from the water, and just over the bridge to Saugatuck! We enjoyed an evening stroll thru the neighborhood with plenty of sights to see along the way. Would definitely recommend this VRBO property!

We were looking for a drive not more than 3 hours or so for a getaway and Douglas, Michigan was the perfect spot for Holland and Saugatuck. The food was fabulous! Great little condo in a great location. The place was emaculate. It is very close to Saugatuck and jus a couple of blocks from downtown Douglas. Our contact person (Adam) went over and above to make sure we arrived safe and found the unit as we expected. He even provided a shower chair that made access to the shower easier. My wife was very happy (important) and said she would gladly saty again. Thanks.

Wonderful space and conveniently located. Adam was always quick to respond and was very accommodating about check-in/check-out times. Rapidly cleared up and corrected what appeared to be a discrepancy in the charges. The unit looks newly renovated and is very well appointed. My traveling companion loved the mattress on the bed and I even found the pull out couch to be comfortable. Easy walk even in the snow to downtown Douglas to Everyday People, quick hop into Saugatuck for Ida Red's, reasonable drive to Grand Rapids to tour the Meyer-May FLW house. Overall the perfect place for our getaway to MI during a time of year we hadn't experienced before.

Awesome little condo in walking distance to everything in Douglas and super short drive to Saugatuck. House was super clean, everything worked great and the bed was the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. We played board games on the screened in porch and enjoyed every bit of the house.
