I will begin by stating that is my first ever negative review, I’m not one of those over the top people with unrealistic expectations I just simply cannot believe the treatment we just received from who appeared to be the restaurant manager. As residents having spent a considerable sum to stay at the hotel, his rudeness was nothing short of shocking. When we arrived to ask for a table in an almost empty restaurant in the early evening he asked if we had a reservation to which we replied we did not. He then looked right past us to a group of three behind us asked if they had a reservation and totally ignored our existence. I cannot comment on the quality of the food as we decided to go to another hotel in the town where we were greeted with the expected Kerry cordiality despite them being very busy.

We got married in Dingle and had our reception in the Dingle Skellig Hotel. Sadly Trip Advisor only allows you to give up to 5*... this hotel deserves 10*’s!!!!! I arrived the night before and was in one of their newly renovated rooms. The beds are huge and so comfy and the room itself has a gorgeous bay window to sit and eat breakfast in. The day of the wedding: just WOW. I cannot even out into words the incredible service we received. Loving to the honeymoon suite to finish getting ready, champagne, endless amounts of fruit bowls... Rosarii, the operations manager was on hand to ensure it all ran smoothly! On our return after the ceremony, we were just spoiled rotten. We had 130 guests and every single one of the complimented the delicious meal we had. The staff were delightful throughout and nothing was too much trouble for them. The day after the wedding we got the same treatment. Absolutely spoiled rotten and made feel like absolute royalty! We will definitely be going back every single year and making sure these memories stay very much alive!! You absolutely have to go and stay here to have a magical experience in the most beautiful setting!!! We cannot thank them enough!!

We had a wonderful stay in beautiful Dingle. This hotel was perfect, our room was a good size with a great view. Everything was clean, hair dryer and iron in room and breakfast included! Nice assortment of food to get your day started. It’s in a great location within walking distance of shopping, pubs and restaurants. Loved it!

We stayed here essentially because we booked too close to our trip dates and none of the other B&Bs and inns we looked at were available. The hotel appears to be making an effort to upgrade themselves, but as it stands, it's still a pretty basic, very large hotel - akin to a Hilton. They host large tour groups, small conventions, wedding parties and other big groups. Breakfast is plentiful but pretty basic. Service is not bad, but nothing special. If you stay here, I would definitely make sure that you're staying in the newer part of the hotel. The older wing looked pretty dated and Holiday Inn-like. The rooms in the newer wing, where we stayed were quite nice inside with a large, comfortable bathroom with strong water pressure. The beds were very comfortable. One thing to note is that their ocean view also looks out on the parking lot. The ocean is beyond the lot. We paid for that, but not sure I would do that again. All in all, it wasn't our ideal hotel - we prefer smaller places with personal service and character. However being able to spend time in Dingle was well worth it. And it was perfectly acceptable as a place to stay. Location-wise, it's an easy ten-minute walk into the center of town. If you have children, this might be interesting too because it has an indoor pool. The spa seemed nice too though we didn't use it.

The meals were fabulous. Rooms very comfortable and we had a lovely view. It was so close to everything that we could walk to almost anywhere we wanted to go. There was also a lovely walkway along the beach front.

We took our yearly visit to Dingle and the amazing Skellig Hotel the last week in July 2019. We had upgraded to one of their fantastic new rooms which were in the huge new extension to the hotel with stunning views of Dingle Bay. What luxury. The hotel has had a lot of work done to it over the last 3 years. Last winter the complete middle of the hotel has radical changes - making it airey bright and beautiful adding several new areas to eat aside from the formal dining room. All food was of top class standard and the fish steaks and deserts were so delicious. As usual, the staff are second to none in friendliness, so obliging and lots of advice on how to enjoy the beautiful area. I had a most amazing hot stone massage at the wonderful Spa. Again what wonderful staff and the therapist was so fantastic. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you to one and all. See you all soon Pat and Martha Sjheehan, Fethard, Co Tipperary.

There were pluses and minuses during our stay at this hotel. On the plus side: location-a simple walk into town of a few minutes while still having a gorgeous view of the water; the help provided by folks at the front desk-especially Helene; and the breakfasts were pretty good and fresh. On the minus side- the cleaning of our room and the behavior of the guys doing it...they often didn't even complete a normal room cleaning service, and created a noise level among themselves in the afternoons that wasn't OK; also, the "tired" feeling of the hallways-carpets; the lack of a true concierge. I'm not sure there's a better hotel option in Dingle, so I guess this one suffices.

Spent one night here recently - quality of staff the over-riding positive, they couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful on the day of our arrival (and they had a large wedding group to cater for also on the day). Had dinner that evening, fabulous view from the dining room, again staff excelled, Food was excellent. Breakfast the following morning followed the same trend. Our room was in the newer part of the building, exceptionally clean, lovely view of the sea from same. 5/10 minutes walk in to town. Well wort a visit.

Hotel is an easy 10-15 minute walk into town where there are plenty of good places to eat and greet music! Scenic location right on the water. The breakfast buffet has lots of variety- all good. If getting tired of Guinness, try their Dingle Gin and tonic with jumper berries floating in the glass! Rooms all comfortable and adequate with very helpful staff. Enjoyed our stay!

We had a very special stay this week In one of the new sea view suites. The colour scheme is so restful, your feet melt into the carpet and the double headed shower was amazing. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in our room sitting by the floor to ceiling window with a breathtaking view of the sea. Afterwards we donned our fifty robes and slippers to walk down the corridor to the spa. Here we chilled out with the morning papers accompanied by chilled juice, fresh fruit, nuts & seeds. The hot tub overlooks Dingle harbour, we soaked and watched fishing boats, kayaks and the famous Dingle dolphin Fungi tourist boats go about their business. The spa was exceptionally clean, lots of extra fluffy towels available for use of the sauna, steam room and showers there. We enjoyed great food in the bar, my highlight was an sumptuous seafood platter washed down with super sauvigon blanc. The staff are exceptional, they genuinely make your comfort and top class service their priority. We are already planning a return visit with our family.
