The house channels a western theme befitting its name “Big Sky Retreat.” Spend days teeing off at the Sky Valley Golf Course or relaxing on the furnished deck complete with expansive mountain views. When you're ready for adventure, explore scenic hiking trails at Black Rock Mountain State Park, whitewater raft down the Chattooga River, or hit the slopes at Sapphire Valley Ski Area in winter. Sky Valley is between Highlands, NC and Clayton, GA where you can also enjoy a wide variety of shopping and dining options. Enjoy access to outdoor pool, indoor sauna and hot tub, and fitness center in the Sky Valley community. This is complimentary during your stay - access cards for the amenities are provided.

Second time enjoying this home. Perfect for family with young adult children. Beautiful views and wonderful screened in porch. Due to remoteness of location, internet was a little spotty at times, but the home and location make this a solid 5-star.

Fabulous mountain views

We chose this house to be able to enjoy the Mountain views and they were gorgeous. The house sits on a Ridgeline, so, you have views out the front and back of your home. It’s super cool. We ate all of our meals on the screened in porch. We appreciated the open family room. There was only four of us. Though, the home would be great For a larger group. We will look forward to a return stay.

10/10 Spacious Mountaintop House with Spectacular Views!

This house has it ALL! Large, open and airy home with breathtaking Mountain Views from both the front and back of the house. Beautifully appointed home with tasteful and cozy decor. Great deck space and large screened in porch where we enjoyed slow dinners while watching the sun set over the mountains. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’ll need. The location can’t be beat! We had a great time shopping and dining in the fun towns of Highlands and Clayton. Hiking in the immediate area is amazing, with gorgeous trails and lots of waterfalls to see. We also had access to full gym facilities and the swimming pool in Sky Valley and the golf course is open to the public. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!!
