Mukambi Safari Lodge
"Amazing in every way. I want to go back! The staff were awesome."

Urban Bliss Hotel
"Urban Bliss is the best Hotel in that region of Zambia, (150km radius) second to none. That stretch of highway in Zambia is pretty brutal presently, but to have that standard of hotel has always assured me as I brought teams through. The staff are friendly and professional. The hotel has great security. The restaurant is the best standard around that area that I know of, which makes it safe and passable. The staff are traditionally a little slow to serve by international standards. They kinda saunter over to you. But still not too bad at all, with lots of variety. It has various room setups which help for different needs. I always used the Presidential Suite. It is very spacious and the bed is really good. It has a massage chair but it has been broken, not working, 4 of the 5 times I have used the room over the last few years so it is just for appearances I suspect. Perhaps the biggest disconnect for me of that room is, that, it is the nicest room for rent in that part of Zambia, but it uses a water saver shower nozzle head , which after a long day on the road, SUCKS. If you are paying for the best, one would prefer not to have to run around in the shower or be blasted by super compressed water droplets. Urban Bliss can be expensive. I was charged US$90 to get some clothes washed and dryed. When I queried with staff my concern was dismissed. The staff have angled me more than most places to pay extra rather than to save me expense. That aside though, a GREAT hotel."
