We always stay at the Destin Gulfgate. It is always clean & such a nice place to stay. We can walk to the back porch restaurant and it’s conveniently located to everything. The beach is private and we always get front row beach chairs. It’s a great place to stay.

Destin Gulfgate Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. No problems or issues with our unit. Very well maintained property with friendly on-site maintenance employees. Our unit was well stocked with all the kitchen amenities we needed to cook and eat in our room. You do need to bring extra paper goods like toilet paper & paper towels as well as your own laundry detergent and washing detergent. Beach access was perfect and we enjoyed a wonderful view from out unit. The pool and exercise building and restrooms were well maintained and easily accessible. We enjoyed walking to The Back Porch restaurant and coffee/ice cream place. Parking was fine, but might be difficult in summer months. Driving distance to restaurants, shopping outlets, and souvenir shops, and recreation areas was short. Very lovely and convenient property that we have stayed in multiple times because it is only 10 stories so you do not have the issues associated with high rise condos like overcrowded elevators and beach front. 10/10.

Great Place to Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was great and we have stayed at this location three times and the first 2 times it was VERY clean and well taken care of. This was the second time in this particular unit. I was a bit dissapointed in the cleanliness as we noticed alot of little things like the windows were not clean and had hand prints, some dust bunnies and dirt spots on the furniture. In the past the smell of clean hit you when you walked in, we did not have that this year. for the cost I expect much better. Did not get to use the parking garage as they were updating things, should have been told prior.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Gulfgate several times , & it is always wonderful. The staff is the friendliest staff in the business. The property is well maintained. The pictures of the condos are accurate. It is a very safe place to stay & close to very good restaurants. The beach is beautiful, & the gym is very clean. I do not know anyone who does not love staying there. The only complaint I have is that a few people smoke on the balconies which means I have to go inside until the smoke clears. Fortunately, most people do not smoke & are considerate of others.
