The Space:

• Inside, you'll find a clean, fun, and budget-friendly rental space that we've put a lot of care into.
• Please Note: This community was constructed in the 1970s and has a more dated exterior. There are exterior limitations of the property that are beyond our control.
• We understand this rental may not be the perfect fit for every traveler, and that’s why we aim to be transparent; so, you can feel confident and comfortable with your choice to stay here.

While you're not beachfront, the driving proximity to everything Destin can't be beat to live like a local! While we understand that our home may not be a good fit for everyone, we go above and beyond for our guest satisfaction!

“Vacation Destin-ation" is a comfortable two bedroom condo with accommodations to sleep up to 8 guests. Our bed layout is as follows: King Bed & 2 Twin trundle beds in bedroom one. Twin over Queen bunk bed & twin over twin bunk beds in bedroom two! Read along for a quick layout of our space!

When you arrive, you'll walk right in to the living room that offers a cozy sectional in the main area with a large Roku Tv with provided HuluLive offered for our guests convenience. Guests can feel free to login to their own media (Netflix, etc. while traveling as well! A small desk & chair is offered in the unit for those needing to setup a "work from home" station. A bonus sitting area is right by the back sliding glass doors with a loveseat and additional TV for the kids, or even for having that second sports game on to watch all the scores!

The brand new freshly remodeled kitchen area has an open concept to the living room for enjoying your meals and time together. We've stocked this kitchen with full appliances, dishes, bake ware, pots & pans, silverware, utensils, crockpot, toaster, blender, and a traditional coffee maker & Keurig! If you plan to cook during your trip, we encourage you to bring along any spices, condiments, & oils you may need as we do not provide any perishable or non perishable items. There is a breakfast bar with plenty of barstools to enjoy meals. We do not offer a traditional dining area or table.

Directly off the living area you can find our first bedroom with a memory foam King bed with an abundance of pillows for a comfortable nights sleep. Under the King bed are two memory foam twin trundle beds, that easily pull out on either side of the bed. A dresser is provided so you don't have to live out of your suitcase. The TV in this room also offers Roku with provided HuluLive & is perfect for relaxing in bed watching your favorite shows at the end of the day.

The Jack & Jill style bathroom offers a shower & tub to enjoy baths, soft towels, and plenty of space to get ready in. The vanity is central in the bathroom, with a modern LED design. The toilet area is separate, but still part of the full bathroom.

We conveniently offer a full sized washer and dryer right near the kitchen & living room area for use during your stay. No need to visit the laundromat!

We have an easy to use high chair, pack and play, plastic silverware, cups, and plastic dishes for our tiny travelers as well! These items are always at the listing, so no need to request them, pay extra to rent them, or pack them along.

You're in the best spot within our gated community for easy access to amenities as well! There are tennis courts right across the parking lot, just bring along your gear to play to your heart's content. One of three community pools is located next to the building & as an added bonus there is the another pool within a short walk that is seasonally heated! Right behind the condo building you can find our small lake that offers a quaint feel for an evening stroll. Take an opportunity to peek over the bridge at the abundance of turtles that call this space home! Lastly, guests can enjoy charcoal grills throughout the complex for any meals they'd like to grill out.

Exciting News! Gulf Terrace Condominiums now offers electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, located near the laundry facility and tennis courts. No trips across town necessary, top off your battery just steps from your door.

Guest Access:
A few important things to keep in mind:

-This is a first floor unit, so there is a potential for noise from neighboring units beyond our control.
-We supply all linens for your stay (to include beach towels). Our cleaners offer a courtesy supply of LIGHT amenities (a trash bag, roll of toilet paper, paper towels, soap, dish detergent, & laundry soap). If you have a trip longer than 24 hours, or are coming with a larger group please plan ahead & bring any extra items you anticipate needing during your stay.
-Trailer/RV/BoxTruck/Watercraft parking is not permitted at any time in our complex. Towing fees issued from the HOA do apply to any violation of this.
-Due to this being a residential complex, noise ordinances are at 10pm sharp. We do not permit excessive noise, parties, illegal activity, or disturbances at any time.
-Any stay that a house trained pet will be included in MUST be disclosed when booking, as a pet fee of $50 is required. We do not accept more than 2 dogs, and pets must be crated when unattended and cleaned up after inside and out. Pets are not permitted on furniture at any time. ADA recognized service animals are not charged a pet fee, but ESA (Emotional Support Animals) are still subject to pet fee. False information regarding a service animal is against the law in our state, so we appreciate your honesty in this matter.
-We are NOT beachfront, you can't see the beach, you can't stick your toes in the sand from the front door, and you do have to get in your vehicle to drive to the PUBLIC beach access that is 3/4 mile from our condo. We do not have a gated or private beach access at this location. We do provide beach towels for our guests to use at the beach, but no other beach items are provided or guaranteed.
-This is a mixed community with residential & short term guests alike. While the gated community itself is a "community in transition" with updates to the exterior being improved steadily, we do not have control over any "look" of the exterior of our condo. We have gone above & beyond to create a cozy space INSIDE for our guests enjoyment!

Interaction with Guests:
We are LOCAL & always available for our guests anytime before and during your trip. It is highly encouraged to read our listing in detail for any questions about the space, location, and amenities. We ask, please, for NO text message communication as you will not receive a response. Our strong preference is communication directly through your booking platform so that we have all the details of your trip to make assisting you a breeze. For more immediate needs and emergencies please place a phone call to Matthew (and be sure to know the logistics of your trip such as the dates and location). We can be reached most times of the day, but ask for no late night contact-we will do our absolute best to take care of any needs and questions as soon as they arise!
