Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of Destin’s desirable Crystal Beach area, Golden Hour Getaway is a bright, beachy, and family-friendly home that offers everything you need for a relaxed and memorable stay. Just a short 10-minute walk or 2-minute drive from the white-sand shores, this self-managed 3-bedroom, 2-bath house is the perfect home base for beach vacations, family trips, or a peaceful Florida escape.

This spacious home sleeps up to 10 guests comfortably. The sleeping arrangements include a king bedroom for two, a queen bedroom for two, a bunk room that sleeps four (with queen over queen bunk beds and a dedicated work desk), and a sleeper sofa in the front room that accommodates two more guests. Each bedroom is equipped with a 43-inch Roku TV and plenty of storage. Extra bedding and towels for the sleeper sofa can be found in the master closet (upon request).

The open-concept living space features a cozy sectional sofa, a large Roku-enabled TV for movie nights, and a coffee nook where you can enjoy your morning brew with a view of the backyard. The fully equipped kitchen includes all the essentials for cooking at home: basic seasonings, pots and pans, a blender, stock pot (perfect for a stovetop shrimp boil), regular coffee maker, Nespresso machine, electric tea kettle (with starter pods and teas), plus plastic wine glasses for poolside use and craft ice in the freezer for those who love making cocktails. There is also child friendly plates, cups, and silverware that can double as outdoor/picnic friendly dishes for a perfect beach picnic or outdoor meal in the backyard.

Outside, you’ll find a charming Florida room and a fully lit backyard — great for enjoying a cocktail in the evening. We also provide a cornhole set for a little outdoor fun. The home includes a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience, and we provide a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, and laundry detergent. Forgot something? Each bathroom has a limited supply of toothbrushes, toothpaste, and makeup wipes just in case.

You’ll have access to the neighborhood pool, and we’ve stocked the house with everything you need for a great beach day: beach towels (1 per guest — please return to avoid a fee), a cooler, beach tents, boogie boards, and sand toys. You’re a short ride to three nearby beach access points: Tarpon Beach Trail, James Lee Beach by the Crab Trap Restaurant, and the soon-to-open Crystal Beach access, which is a straight shot from the house. If you rent a golf cart (highly recommended!), just note that golf carts are only permitted on Scenic Highway 98 (the beachfront road) and can cross Highway 98 only to access restaurants or shops — they cannot drive on Highway 98 itself.

We can accommodate up to three parked cars in the driveway, but please note parking is tight. Vehicles must not block the sidewalk, park on the street, or pull onto the grass due to city restrictions. Security cameras are located outside, including a Ring doorbell, for peace of mind during your stay.

Guests must be 21 or older to book. Smoking is only permitted in the designated area in the backyard, and unfortunately, pets are not allowed. As a special welcome, we also provide a complimentary snack and beverage basket — feel free to help yourself!
