• This home is equipped with three (3) external security cameras. The first is located on the front/top of the roof, actively monitoring the street, the second located on the back/top of roof, actively monitoring the harbor/dock area. The third camera is on the pole in front of the home monitoring the driveway.
• Pet friendly! Maximum 1 dog, 50 lbs. or less allowed. Advanced notice is required. A flat pet fee of $150 will be required in addition to your final booking cost.
• Dogs must be always kept on a leash while outside, as the property does not have a fenced yard. If you need to leave your dog unattended in the property, they must be crated. Please bring your own crate. Pets are not permitted on furniture or beds. Guests are responsible for any damage or extra cleaning caused by their pets. For safety reasons, dogs are not allowed on the beaches in Okaloosa County. This policy is mandated by County Ordinance No. 77-19, Section 6.
• This home is built on treated pilings, which give off a natural scent in the lower-level area. It’s completely normal and simply part of the home’s coastal character.
• Holiday Isle also offers two public beach access points: O'Steen Access and Norriego Point Beach Access and Park.
• Easy access to the Destin Water Taxi! Pick-up at the dock can take you to Harborwalk Village, The Destin Boardwalk, Boshamps & Marina Cafe, Harbor Docks, Pelican Adventures, and Louisiana Lagniappe.
• Guests have access to the right-side garage only.
• 28 ft deep water dock available. Please contact us after booking if you plan on bringing a boat.

The house was incredible. Here for a bachelor’s, and the group was very pleased. Ideal location, used the water taxi to go everywhere. The dock was great for fishing, and we actually got onto quite a few fish. The back deck was an awesome place to relax during the down time. The check in/check out instructions were extremely clear, and we didn’t have a single problem. Over all, will be referring this location to friends in the future. Thanks again to the host! We had a blast!

Pros. This is a large place, we had 14 adults (6 couples, 2 singles) for a birthday weekend. The house worked well as there are 6 private rooms plus 2 pull out couches for the singles. Great location in Destin, not only is it super close to everything, it's on the harbor with great views off the large deck, and a private dock as we had the water taxi pick us all up to go to the Harbor Walk. They also let us arrive 1hr early which was nice.Cons. It’s fairly old and outdated. Most of the upstairs is old dingy carpet. One of the bedrooms upstairs is 2 twin beds but we were able to make it work. The downstairs is completely separate from the upstairs. You have to walk outside to get from one to the other which is inconvenient. The bottom level is ground level with the garage and doors and there were lots of small worms all over the floors downstairs. They came out quickly and sprayed but it didn't help much. Also the downstairs water heater wasn't working. They came out quickly to reset it but it didn't fix it. We were only there for a short time so it never got resolved and the people staying downstairs had to shower upstairs which is inconvenient with them not being connected, and had 14 adults that had to share 2 showers. I asked for compensation for the inconvenience and they only offered 50 back. Had they offered me a significant refund for the no downstairs hot water and the worm issue I would feel differently.

Great backyard!
The location and water access was great. The patio and dock was a hit with our grandchildren and the hoses to spray off sand was a hit with the adults. Several things were not working, the refrigerators, the downstairs dryer, and the garage door. The property manager was very prompt in getting those things fixed except the garage door was not functioning again the day we left so we had to leave it open. I was surprised that the two floors did not connect internally, that was NOT in any of the descriptions of the property so I felt that was a little misleading. Overall, we had a wonderful time and the property was great.
