Dirty

House was beautiful and in a great location. However after being there for only 5 minutes the bottom of our feet were black. Floors were not cleaned. Bathrooms were filthy. Both bath tubs had hair in them. Hair that was not ours. If I was the owner of the home I would highly recommend getting away from RealJoy vaca because it’s not the first time I have had cleanliness issues with them.

The house was dirty. Thankful I didn’t have children with me. The pool and patio area needs attention. Could barely get the patio doors open. The family room television worked sporadically. The beds had a thin bedspread and no extra blanket. They were no blankets at all for the pull out couch. It’s a shame because the house could be nice. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood. Overall it was very nice and really enjoyed our stay..we only used the golf cart twice and both times it quit on us and luckily started again… we did notify Joy vacations and they were waiting on an answer from owners so we feel we shouldn’t have to pay for the golf carts and joy vacations said we wouldn’t have to…. The only other thing was the dish washer had an odor when I opened it ….I don’t use dishwashers so I never used it….otherwise it was great and I would definitely come back

Great location, but a little lacking

The location of this property was the best part. It's located close to the beach and to all of the things you might want to do in Destin. The house itself could use a bit of attention, especially the kitchen. We didn't really eat at the house, but still found the kitchen lacking. Even to cut up fruit and make sandwiches, it was a stretch to find what we needed (never did find a cutting board.) Some of the cabinet doors and knobs were barely hanging on and were dingy. The floors in the whole house were not clean. I get that it's the beach and there's sand, but even the first day we arrived, it felt gross to walk around barefooted. Overall it was fine and not worth making a big fuss about, but it left me a little disappointed, especially with the money we spent to stay here. I was also very turned off by receiving marketing emails after we returned home from the realty company that manages the property.

Served it’s purpose

I’ll start by saying we had a great vacation with friends. We felt for the price of the rental our expectations were not met. The master bedroom sheets had make up stains on them at our arrival. We could not find sheets for the pull out couches. The floors looked clean however your feet would be black after walking on them. We traveled by airplane so we couldn’t bring everyday kitchen items and felt the kitchen could have had more accessories. The house was beautiful but needed some upkeep (loose cabinets, loose faucet on the jacuzzi tub, jacuzzi tub jets didn’t work, and the doors to the pool area were very hard to open). We did reach out to the property manager during our stay and they were timely in their responses and did offer to come out to deliver clean sheets.

Spring break

We really enjoyed the house and how close it was to everything. The internet had a few issues, but other than that it was perfect for our family. We all had enough space and were able to get plenty of time at the beach.

Nice place and right by the beach

Great stay place is spacious and clean and is in a nice gated community. They have a quick response to any problems that you may have. In the center of it all and minutes from boardwalk. Will stay again.

Best Vaca Ever

I am so impressed with the location of this property and the property itself it is in a great place to go via golf cart to many restaurants and the beautiful ocean I will certainly be rebooking this home for our next vacation

Destiny East Beach house

Overall property was nice just need some updating and extra cleaning. There were a few things/fixtures broken but overall nice property. I did love that a golf cart was included. This was very convenient to drive to the beach and stores that were short distance.

Had a wonderful time. The property was big and cozy. Golfcart is a must to the beach access. There are some things that need a little TLC but overall we were very satisfied with the property and had a wonderful time in Destin, Fl.

Destin family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. It's location is excellent and the neighborhood was quite and nice. There were six adults and an infant with us. Due to inclement weather we ate in mostly. We ran out of trash bags, dish soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in a three night stay. They wifi was ok. Also the pool man was in our screened in porch at 8am while some of our guests were getting ready.
