The castle was hardly a castle...

No beach towels, 1 dish towel. We had to buy some. I own rentals and have worked turn key and compared to the other houses in that area, this one was lacking in care, little landscaping, cheap outdoor furnishing, nothing in the back yard except the dirty grill, knee high weeds, and an old swing frame made into a makeshift clothes line. Suggest beach towels for 12, an umbrella clothes line or something in the garage to hang swim suits, put the cheap plastic chairs in the back of throw them out, nice chairs and table on beautiful porch would go far. Southern was great about responding to issues with garbage, dishwasher and they did get the back mowed and picked up the leftover garbage. I won't recommend a for 3000, I shouldn't have to clean up other people's garbage. This house should shine. It's on a corner lot.

We stayed with 9 guests in the peak summer season in Destin and had a great time! The house was exactly like advertised and very clean upon arrival. The AC upstairs worked better than the bottom floor but we let the owners know in case it was an AC issue. They do not have any type of paper towels, laundry soap, cleaning sprays etc. so make sure to bring enough for your stay! My only complaint is I wish they would have two garbage cans because a house this big that can accommodate this many guests, trash builds up fast! We stayed 4 days and the garbage can was overflowing outside. Check in and out process was very easy! They did not ask a lot from us when checking out which made getting 9 people out of there very easy! Would recommend you stay at this place!!
