Tropic Like it's Hot is a stunning eight-bedroom gulf-front home in Destin, Florida right on Scenic Hwy 98. This just-remodeled vacation home is the ideal place to spend your next trip to Destin. From private beach access, private pool, and spectacular gulf views to a chic modern interior, Tropic Like it's Hot is the ultimate vacation home.

Upon entering this beautiful home, you'll walk into a stunning foyer that leads into a dining room, bar area, and kitchen. The bar features an ice maker and full-size fridge. The dining room features a large, unique, 120-inch dining table that seats up to ten people, which makes this home great for family gatherings. The kitchen is located adjacent to the dining room and features white quartz countertops, a huge kitchen island with a breakfast bar that seats eight, and a gorgeous backsplash. In addition, the kitchen has state-of-the-art appliances including a 48-inch gas range, double oven, stainless steel farmhouse sink, and a 26-inch fridge and freezer. Altogether, this kitchen is a chef's dream come true.

The kitchen leads into the spacious double living room that looks out to the Gulf of Mexico. This spacious living area features two different sitting spaces between the large sectional, love seat, and stylish blue chairs. In addition, the main living area also boasts panoramic views of the gulf, mirrored cabinets, and a 65 inch flat-screen TV. It also leads out to the back deck where you'll find the private pool overlooking the Gulf, plenty of outdoor seating, and steps that lead down to a private beach.

In addition, this stunning property features eight bedrooms and sleeps up to twenty guests comfortably. The first two bedrooms in the home are located on the first floor and both feature king beds, flat-screen TVs, and ensuite bathrooms. The first bedroom's ensuite includes a dual sink vanity and a combination shower/bath and the second bedroom's ensuite features a single sink vanity and a walk-in shower. Upstairs, the third bedroom is a great room for kids as it doubles as the game room with a pool table and flat-screen TV. It features a love seat, sofa, red leather chairs, and a twin/twin deluxe daybed with a trundle. In addition, this room also includes a kitchenette with an ice maker, sink, and microwave. A half bath is located adjacent to this bedroom as well. Next, the fourth bedroom sleeps up to six guests comfortably in three queen-sized beds. However, there's still plenty of space in the room as the third queen bed is actually a murphy bed that can fold into the wall. The fourth bedroom also features a flat-screen TV and an ensuite bathroom with a dual sink vanity and a walk-in shower. Across the hall, the fifth bedroom features a king-sized bed, flat-screen TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The last two bedrooms in the home are both master suites and boast breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico. Both master suites feature king beds, balcony access, seating areas, and ensuite bathrooms complete with dual sink vanities, private water closets, and walk-in showers.

Great vacation rental, especially for large family

We loved this property and will rent again. Very nice house with easy access to private beach. Had a big group and there was plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone. A few maintenance issues but the property manager was very responsive!

Amazing property

This house was perfect for the 17 of us (10 adults & 7 children). It was a very short walk to the private beach which was nice. The kids really enjoyed the pool. My only complaint would be that each person is given only one washcloth. Bring some from home unless you want to do laundry daily while on vacation I feel like this is a house we would definitely choose to stay in again.

Beautiful Property

This beach house was very accommodating and beautiful! We celebrated our youngest child's wedding proposal, as well as, our oldest grandchild's birthday while there. We loved all the seating in the living room that looks out on the soft sand and clear blue water; and enjoyed gathering around the large kitchen island and table daily to eat amazing food and play games. Since we did have little children there, it would have been helpful to have the pool/spa covered or enclosed with gates rather than open water on the deck, so be aware of this if you have little ones. There were a couple of minor things that needed repair, but the beds were so comfortable and we had everything we needed in this lovely place. It was a vacation for the books!

Great house, needs new cleaners

The house is amazingly beautiful and has everything you need. The views are great. The only thing we didn't like was how dirty it was. The floors were really dirty, there was dust and fingerprints on the kitchen appliances. The house has two sets of washer and dryers. The upstairs washer smells terrible and made our clothes smell awful so we weren't able to wash anything. Overall we had a wonderful time and would consider staying here again.

The house was simply beautiful and in a great location. I visited with 6 other friends and it was perfect. The kitchen had everything you could possibly ever need. The host was very responsive and the house was spotless. We enjoyed the home so much that we decided to stay an extra day. We will be back again!

Wonderful stay. House was spacious and family friendly. Loved the private beach access. Couple things to note - water pressure in the showers was not great plus several took cold showers since the hot water did not seem to last very long. Tall standing mirrors are suggested. For as many bedrooms and ladies that like to have a mirrors available I was surprised there were none in the bedrooms. Only mirrors were bathroom mirrors. Overall it’s a beautiful house and location.
