the hotel is renovated and the service excellent. you ll find nice rooms with big tv and bluetooth speakers. the swimming pools and gardens are really nice and if you have young children they can have good time. you can find lot of interesting restaurants outside. the italian restaurant of the hyatt is really good too.
Clean and fresh smell of the room make extremely comfortable, staff friendly and helpful, fast response of frontline , hotel location is near shopping local market and food was excellent, spa was awesome
We booked a couple of days in Sanur at the Hyatt Regency, having stayed for ten days in different places. This is an amazing hotel, fabulous breakfast and very good food too. It was the ideal blend of pool, beach, sleep, repeat. We will make this our base for the next visit!
The location is amazing, walking distance from market, restaurants and beach The negatives: Sealing is too law :) AC was not working probably so we suffered first night and next day it was fixed however if room was checked probably this could be avoided The place looks crowded when it cones to find spot on pool or beach.. the number of seats is away less than number of rooms !! Selfish tourists existed the time we were there , leaving a book or towel on the bench and going for nap or lunch to hold the seat till they are back ! The staff is friendly and helpful Overall i would recommend this place
Fantastic stay in the Hyatt with the family. We had 3 rooms booked. great location and service from the staff.Grounds are lovely. There are several pools and loved that the resort had an adult pool only.
We came across the Hyatt while staying at the Puri Santrian and walked through the beautiful gardens to get to the main road and were immediately impressed. Due to ilnness we subsequently had to cancel our planned 4 nights on Penida and were so lucky to be able to book the Hyatt last minute. The Hyatt absolutely made our trip.It is in a fabulous location with a great and clean beach. The boardwalk along the beach is fantastic as you never need to go near any of the roads to get to a restaurant or bar. We just stayed at the resort and relaxed....so tranquil and away from the general madness of Bali. The room was lovely with a nice sitting area and sliding doors so that not one sliver of light got into the room at night. The bathroom with bath was very luxurious. Food at Omang Omang was excellent and no more expensive than outside the hotel although alcohol was pricey. We ended up eating dinner there every night for the food, service and setting. Every meal was fantastic. We did eat out at lunch and the restaurants nearby were also very good-special mention to the upper deck at Seagrass for a nice lunch spot. The staff were all gorgeous-every one of them with a welcoming smile and greeting and all so proud of the hotel. We were very sad to have to leave this hotel and thats not something we say often.Highly recommended!
I have titled this review. “Fabulous truly fabulous” because it is the simplest way to describe this wonderful hotel in a nutshell. We have been coming to Hyatt Regency Bali on countless occasions since the old Bali Hyatt first opened way back when, and have stayed here three times already this year since the hotel reopened at Christmas after extensive renovations lasting five years. It was a very long wait but in hindsight well worth it. The refurbished hotel is just beautiful. Ever since the old Bali Hyatt opened it’s doors two of its biggest assets has always been the wonderful staff and stunning gardens. It seems that Hyatt have a knack of recruiting the right staff for the job and then training them to a very high standard. The norm being a broad welcome smile, very friendly service with nothing too much trouble. From senior management, middle management, junior staff, cleaners and gardeners they are all so friendly, interactive in an unobtrusive way and seem so happy in their work. I would particularly like to thank Hendy the front office manager for being so helpful on all three visits this year. Anike in the Regency Club for her never ending smile and all of the Regency Club staff for their efficient attentive and always smiling service. I hope I can remember them all by name so that management can pass on my sincere thanks. Septi, Oka, Tika, Sabrina, Febri, Widi, Juli, Bayu, Benny, Verga and of course the lovable egg chef Wayan. Thank you so much one and all. This seems to be turning into a marathon review but I’m not done yet!!! The gardens as previously mentioned have always been a big drawcard and asset to the hotel. I’m pleased to report that although the gardens weren’t quite up to scratch when we visited the newly renovated hotel when it first opened back at Christmas, the dust hadn’t settled so understandably they weren’t looking their best but now the gardeners have been at work and the gardens are now showing their true colours and looking beautiful. The rooms have retained their Balinese style and more spacious than before with more modern infrastructure showing throughout the hotel. A big plus is the much improved WIFI, Additional showers and toilets around the pools, a stunning spa and treatments area, a fantastic gym, a beautiful piano bar and lobby, the list goes on but unfortunately my memory doesn’t!!! We didn’t try the Pitzzaria, but on Stein the food and beverage managers recommendation, we did try the grilled lamb chops in Oman Omang restaurant, and my oh my they were so good had them two nights running!! Absolutely superb and we’re quite critical when it comes to food. Great choice Stein... thanks. Last thing for me to say is if we would we visit Hyatt Regency Bali again??? Absolutely!!!.....already booked for later in the year. Fabulous truly fabulous.
This is visit number seven to this amazing property. First time was in 1975 and the hotel is still just as great now as when it first opened. That’s why I give it one of the best ratings of all hotels in Bali. Big call I know as there are so many wonderful five star places here. But being built in sleepy Sanur in the early 1970s meant this place had all the land it wanted. Plus it was thoughtfully laid our with amazing gardens - and the best part is, 40 years on and the gardens and hotel are as good as ever. It’s always been the Hyatt, and is a real gem. If you’re visiting Bali, come and stay here for two nights at least. A week or even longer. You will love it. The rooms have been recently renovated in 2018, and they are OK. Not the most amazing rooms to be fair, but five star. The joy are the grounds and facilities. Pools - gardens - beach - staff - fitness Centre. It’s all wonderful. No one else around, peaceful like you wouldn’t believe Bali can be. That’s why Hyatt Sanur is one of my favs on the island, still. Definitely worth a stay. And yes. Club lounge access is worth it. One of the most beautiful lounges in resorts I’ve seen.
Facilitets very good. Lovely food at the restaurants. Nice pool area. If you during the stay need some help to sort something out, the service at the front desk is incredibly ineffective. The customer needs to keep contacting them to ensure that there is progress.
Enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Regency recently in July for a week. First stay here and were impressed with resort beautiful gardens pools and beach access. We stayed in a Deluxe Ocean View room with balcony. Our room on 2nd floor had wonderful views and room was lovely with big bathroom with shower and bath and seperate toilet. Our bed was super comfy as was bedding and pillows. We also had club access which had a lovely setting but no ocean view which would have been nicer. Drinks and canopies were between 5 and 7pm. Good variety of drinks including beer wine and spirits. Food offering fairly average compared to other resorts we have been too. We also had breakfast in club room included and again not a big variety made more limited being vegetarian. We were assured when we commented to staff that there was not much for us that they would arrange special meals, but this became too difficult so we found it easier too eat out luckily we found Soul in a bowl a cafe close by and ate there every day. When we asked about breakfast at there other restaurant we were told it wasn't included. So although Staff were very friendly they didn't seem to be able to help with dietary requirements. We tried to dine at The Italian Restaurant one night but service was very poor so left. We found lots of choices for places to dine at on beach and also Main Street all short walking distance away. Would definitely stay again as top location but would not worry about breakfast or dining in as so many cheap good eateries nearby.
