Bed was very comfortable and best shower that i have ever experienced at a resort. Rooms could use some updating.
Room was old and musty . They called our room Beachfront but the only thing we saw was blacktop and cars. Sorry but the whole place needs an overhaul .
The staff were always helpful and accommodating. I wished the on-site bar/restaurant was open later and I wished there were vending machines.

Hi Charles, Thank yo for taking the time to write to us. First, I would like to apologize that the stay with us did not meet your expectations, or for that matter, ours. I know the staff tries very hard to get it right and attend to any issues you might have. Most issues when they are brought to our attention can be resolved the first day. During the four nights you stayed with us we did not hear from you. You rented through Expedia a deluxe room without an ocean view that had a kitchenette (Stainless Steel appliances and granite counter top) two queen beds with our Serta Master Suite collection, and a sitting area with a kids sleeper couch. Everything in that room including carpeting and drapery were new within the past five years. I Know the days were sunny and humid - high 80;s when you were here. That may have lead to a damp feeling with the a/c on high and the outside door opening and closing. I do hope on those sunny 80 degree days you had chance to enjoy our award winning sandy beach, two out door pools/hot tubs and our recreation building with indoor pool and game room. I think the only thing you were missing was the ocean view to your room. Not all our rooms have ocean views and we try to communicate that in our rate structure (the lowest priced rooms do not have views), the narrative of the room, and the pictures we include. If you rely on third party web sites as your sole information you might have missed all the information about your room on the hotels site. Even a talk with a staff member after booking might have helped. We would very much like to have you back with an ocean view room next time. Just book directly with us and we'll upgrade you to an ocean view room at no additional charge. We can let you know at the time of booking which view room we have available so you can look at it on our website to approve. Again, as I started out to say, the staff and I are very sorry you were displeased. I hope we will get a chance to get it right for you. Wishing you and your family enjoyable future vacations.
