A great getaway!

My husband and I stayed 4 nights with our 17 year old son and two dogs. The location is so private and the amenities were perfect. My son fished every day and caught several trout. The cabins were tastefully decorated and clean. It is a good drive into town, so make sure you have everything you need when you go.

Great Communication

Unfortunately due to an area-wide power outage, we were unable to stay. The host however was VERY responsive and provided a refund without issue. We still plan to book this location for another stay.

Family Thanksgiving

We absolutely loved Twin Creeks Cabin. It was perfect for our growing family, our son, daughter-in -law and 2 grandkids stayed in the little house while we stayed in the big house with our son and his girlfriend. We all enjoyed each other’s company in the big house. Our grandkids and dogs loved playing in the huge yard. The creek is beautiful and our son and daughter in-law even did a cold plunge Would definitely book Twin Creeks Cabin again Thank you so much for a wonderful family getaway

We love the elk creek area !

We’ve been coming to the area for several years but this is the first time we stayed at this cabin. We love the location by the creek and large open area out front is awesome for letting the dog run around. Hot tub was great and especially enjoyable on a cold night night !

The BEST private getaway!

Loved every bit of our stay. The dogs had plenty of room to run, everyone had room to sleep and spread out. We all enjoyed the creek, the peaceful mornings and sound of laughter and conversation. It wasn’t as close to where we needed to be, but it was exactly where God wanted us to spend the last weekend as a family before we dropped our middle son off at school. It was AWESOME !!👏

We’ll Be Back

Quiet, private nice little spot!

House was just what I needed. Check the dates on restocking of the fish. We caught a few, but not as many as we were expecting. Found out later they stocked the next week. Don’t expect to make phone calls. You will have zero cell service (which is explained in the description). Wifi is sketchy at best. You may be able to get wifi, but it will be after dark. Hot tub was nice and clean. House could use a good dusting, but overall nothing to complain about! I liked that the provide camping chairs so I didn’t have to bring any. Take bug spray and your own water! Loved that it was dog friendly!

Unplug and relax

Perfect mountain getaway. Super clean and well stocked cabins. Only negative thing about the trip was the location of the cabins. Wayyyyyy down a mountain curvy road and dirt road, took us about 30 minutes to get to the main road. Also, there is no cell service at the cabin, so make all your phone calls before you get off the main road.

Slice of Heaven

I can not say enough nice things about this mountain oasis! The cleanliness, the location with the stream, the 2 cabins for space away from the older kids, the organization inside the home, the porches and the hot tub were all perfect! The views of the stream in the morning with coffee were so peaceful! We went into Boone with only a short 20 min ride but could have stayed at the house and played games for days. Going to the grocery store before was key because we cooked all our meals there. We will definitely be coming back to fish, relax and have quality family time!! Like I said Heaven in Deep Gap!

Beautiful location and a warm, toasty cabin!

I can just say it exceeded our expectations and we will be back. The second cabin was a Godsend and the hot tub was great, but the view of the two streams coming together was spectacular.

Great family getaway

Wonderful stay at a gorgeous location. Teens and dogs loved exploring the property. I loved cooking big meals and having us all together. It was so cold this weekend, but we stayed toasty when we were inside and loved to hot tub! Great family getaway ♥️

Peaceful paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at twin creeks cabin. My family of four and my parents fit perfectly in the double cabins. We loved all the amentities offered on our stay. The creek just steps away truly make this spot so relaxing and enjoyable for all ages. Susan, the property manager was extremely friendly and helpful.

After thanksgiving getaway

Just a quick tip away from home. The cabins were the perfect set up as it was husband, adult son and myself. The property was very clean and had all the necessities we needed and then some. Definitely listen about stopping at the store before you come to the cabin. While the closest store might only be 20-30 miles away, that means it’s an hour away. This cabin is a ways out of town and from attractions. If you are looking to unplug from the world this is the place for you. Very limited tv and internet. It is extremely peaceful here. My fur baby loved it. We got the firewood in hopes of building a fire. Which, we did but it was soooo cold to us southerners we weren’t able to stay out too long. But long enough to roast hotdogs and marshmallows one night. My absolute favorite part was the creek. The sound of that water running was the most relaxing sound. Had it been warmer I would have definitely opened the window so I could hear it. Lastly, the communication with property management was great. Top notch!! Would definitely stay here again if we come this way again!!

Forget the outside world❤️

So incredibly relaxing and love all the views, I love self care and this is it. We slept in each day, no need forTV and internet. Brought CDs and stereo. Fire was the best for afternoon and evening’s. Just reconnect with what is important, forgetting any outside world and stress. Thanks again!!! We all loved it.
