This place is a trap dump stay away AT ALL COST! Look nice and safe on the web however, once we arrived we right away notice the place was not well represented by the pictures of Sunglow on Expedia. No security at all, they still use real old Dirty Keys. As you walk in the room immediately as the first thing you see is a dirty and EXTREMELY SMELLY ( Toxic smelling ) room, they have fumigation posts all over the Sunglow stating the place is fumigated ( as a warning id imagine ) the fridge door had dirt and grime all over it ( Very appetizing ), mould and dust throughout the vents, no bathroom fan only a great big dusty hole in the bathroom ceiling..The list goes on and on. As a token of appreciation their guests, they do offer free opened and used bottles of condiments in the cupboards used and abused by whomever was last trapped in this place. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST! Expect a steep unjustified cleaning fee tacked on top of whatever one nightly fee absolutely 100% ridiculous. Front desk closes at 5 pm and opens at 9 am so you cant contact anyone all night. Anyone can roam the building and property as they wish. The door in our room looked like it had been kicked in. What a nightmare of a place. So many nice places around the area, just stay away from this Sunglow resort at all cost. Charged us WAY TO MUCH for one night and lets not forget the steep cleaning fee. Have a look at a few pictures i posted of this place, absolutely horrendous. Looks like a 4 star but is a 1 at best

The property pictures online were misleading. We drove 7 hours during the night to get there so we could spend the day on the beach before check-in at 3pm. There was limited parking unless we wanted to pay 200 per day to be in the same lot as the hotel. It was dirty. We spoke to someone who was staying there and they told us the bellman’s cart is a SHOPPING CART. No waaaay! So… we checked it out and sure enough it was. The guy said they had a metal one but the cart was better option. We took picture of it for proof. There was no way to easily get onto the beach like the online pics and description. You had to go down a steep flight of wooden steps. We could not haul all of our gear up and down the stairs and go up and down every time we wanted to go use the restroom. We are in our 50’s and went to relax, not stress. If we were to stay we would have had to set up farther down because there is no swimming allowed directly in front of hotel (because of beach regulations and it being located beside the pier). I have NEVER been to a beach that you can’t swim near the pier. Whole place and area looked unsafe and run down. My husband has hypertension and he could tell his blood pressure was going up from the stress of it all. So we took pictures of the place and decided that we were definitely not going to be able to stay there and relax. We never even checked in and we left. It was a big red flag when we went into the lobby and it was dimly lit.

I didn't realize I booked on the 10th floor. The view was amazing! We were also honored with a full red moon which was stunnind lighting the ocean surface. Crabby Joes was excellent food just a next door. Our hosts were great and the lobby people too. Love, love, love this place!

Everything great. Excellent location right on the beach. Clean and well stocked room. Clean renovated lobby. Friendly staff. Only negative was the bed was too soft for older people or anyone with back issues. For two people practically non sleepable.
