The hotel shows its age and lack of remodeling over the years. Elevators look dirty and rusted out. The bathroom was dated and not very clean. Vanity very low. Overall I know ocean front property is difficult to maintain but this one just has a lot of deferred maintenance. However for the price during Daytona speed week I guess I can't complain too much but I wouldn't stay there again knowing what I know now. If the wife would have been with me instead of my son I would have been in trouble.

Staff was outstanding. An older motel that they kept spotless. Front desk people very helpful as was maintenance. Replaced a wobbly chair for us. Ocean view and access were very nice.

The cottage is dated and repairs made in the past are cosmetically unappealing and not done correctly. The hot water and cold water are switched in the shower. They had no hotel phone in the cottage. Housekeeping also left at 4:30 each day so if you needed something after that you had to walk to the front desk. When checking in the lady was rude. Very minimum amenities but location is perfect. Pool is very nice.

We got a free upgrade to a room with a kitchenette on the first floor. Motel was very comfortable, clean and the grounds were beautiful. All the rooms have ocean views. Great to listen to the surf and have my coffee outside my room looking and listening to the ocean. The great reviews were accurate
