Mantra seems to have a really annoying habit of advertising a room with a king/queen sized bed, but its really two singles pushed together. It makes a pretty uncomfortable nights sleep with a hard ridge running down the centre of the bed, and lately every Mantra hotel I've stayed at (including this one) do it as the norm. Service was great, although a little too much with the add-on sales tactics for upgrades, wake up calls and the likes.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean, but no hot water and no shower screen so the floor was getting wet. Getting pool towels were inconvenient as you had to go to reception then back up to the 6th floor. Great location and overall a great hotel and will stay there again in our next trip to Darwin.
lovely hotel close to town and all the amenities central location to the esplanade and the waterfront.lovely ground restaurant, nice swimming pool friendly staff air conditioned rooms with fans bar fridge a little small
Located on Knuckey Street, which is a nice quite location with some views. Located in the CBD and close to many restaurants and eateries? The room I had was spacious and clean, the hotel staffs were very friendly, professional, and well presented. A bar, which also includes a coffee bar is situated next to the foyer should you require a cold one or a hot beverage? The dinning are is off the coffee shop. The Mantra has a nice pool and gym which was used with some building views. My room was big and spacious with all the amenities you need, although I like a soft bed but, you cannot always have everything you want. The air-conditioning worked well. The shower was fantastic not those penny pinching one that you have to run around the shower to get wet. There is a buffet breakfast downstairs which I thought was well presented although more attention needs to be paid to how long the food sits for before it is renewed or turned over?. Overall I did not starve or go without sleep so a win, win in my book.
Friendly staff who go out of their way to be helpful. Would definitely stay here again. My room was big and the air conditioning was excellent. The buffet breakfast was ok, could have been a bit more interesting but overall great value for money.
the stay was quite - rooms kept clean and tidy - reception staff friendly. location of the mantra is situated in the CBD but not near any nightclubs or venues where noise becomes a factor in the stay - had in room food service meal was good - not sure about the $6 delivery charge - that could be waivered.
Accomodation as what is expected from the mantra group. The customer service was excellent, price decent but cleaniness not so much as we found someone else's underwear in our room and condom wrapper.
Very nicely positioned - close to restaurants bars, bottle shop and wollies, room was clean and tidy. WiFi not included in you room price but can be purchased. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Secure parking was a plus. We enjoyed our stay.
Continued problems with door lock and lack of chairs at pool were only downside. Room was nice and confortable although a bit old with rust throughout. Staff were friendly and accommodating most of the time
Enjoyed our stay very much. Very friendly staff. Perfect location to go to restaurants. The pool was great and enjoyed by the whole family. Only thing that wasn’t 100% was getting a timely response on the intercom to get into the car park.
