Dart About is centrally located in the picturesque village of Kingswear, with its local village shop and welcoming pubs and restaurants. Set in an elevated position (up 32 steps from the main road) this spacious family home benefits from spectacular views over the River Dart from the front of the property and from the multi-tiered garden. There is plenty of space for all the family, with three bedrooms, an ensuite, separate bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen and not forgetting the wonderful outside space including well equipped summer house with bifold doors. Accessed by regular passenger and car ferries Dartmouth is a wonderful place to spend a day exploring, with its museum, art galleries, independent shops and places to eat.

Ground Floor;

Entrance Hall: With coat hooks and a basket for wet boots and shoes.

Kitchen: Large fridge/freezer, four-ring electric induction hob, electric oven, extractor hood, built-in washing machine and dishwasher.

Lounge: Two good-sized double-seater sofas, Smart TV with all terrestrial channels, Netflix and Disney+, an iPhone dock, BT broadband/WiFi, and a beautiful original feature Edwardian fireplace (not in use). Bay window with lovely views across to Dartmouth.

Dining Room: Round glass table seating 6, perfect for families or groups of friends.

Stairs to First Floor;

Bathroom: Bath with chrome shower attachment, separate shower cubicle, basin and low level WC

Steps up to landing;

Bedroom 1: King-sized bed with bedside lamps with USB charging points, bay window with storage, three-door built-in wardrobe with shelves, hanging space and full length mirror. En-suite shower room with basin, WC. Sits to the front of the property with spectacular views.

Bedroom 2: King-sized bed with bedside lamps with USB charging points, chest of drawers and large built-in wardrobes. Lies at the back of the house and has French Window access to the garden.

Bedroom 3: Single bed with chest of drawers.



Garden: Large decking area at the front with wooden bench table, matching bench seats and chairs and Gas BBQ. To the rear of the property is a pretty garden, wooden steps lead to decking and a large table with room for six chairs. Up a final flight of steps is a sun/garden room/cabin with bifolding doors, a table, shelves, lighting and power sockets. Garden furniture stored in here and a garden umbrella.

Parking: Parking is provided for Dart About in Darthaven Marina, approx 5 minute walk. There is also limited free on-street parking. (Please provide your car make, model, color, registration).

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable to Original Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Power and Heat: Electricity and heating is included in rent.

Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels are provided (please bring your own beach towels).

Baby Equipment: Baby equipment is not available however, if you do have an infant you are welcome to bring your own equipment. With the amount of steps in this property it is not suitable for toddlers.

Notes - No Smoking. 1 pet welcome. Guests are welcome to bring their own baby equipment, it is not provided. The car park permit is arranged in advance and needs at least 10 days notice for the permit to be purchased. WiFi Provided. Mobile Phone Signal is strong.

Short Breaks - Short Breaks accepted throughout the whole year (excluding school holidays) - minimum of 3 nights.
