Stayed here cuz easy access to downtown & transportation but weekend is difficult to get taxi. Hotel needs to help customers regarding this problem! Weekends is when social activities happen.

The rooms are starting to show their age. My particular room had the most dismal view possible. It faced a cement wall. To make it worse, the distance to the wall was so close, very little sun light got through. This made the days look stormy and about to rain even though the sun was out and shining. Kind of depressing. The room was a a good size though and the bed comfortable. The place could stand a bit of fresh paint as well as some of the furniture. The staff is exceptional and very friendly. The breakfast was consistently cold each morning and the internet was useless unless you went to the lobby.

We stayed at Hotel St. Ellis for a night since we had an early morning flight the next day. The stay was okay. The staff were very helpful, especially those who checked us in. The street it is on isn't particularly appealing, but it is very close to the area malls (walking distance). In terms of the amenities, it was in fair condition, but some walls/doors could use a new paint job. I also suggested they have a towel or something as a mat in the bath room as one could easily slip. The bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning sufficient to battle the heat. They also have an airport shuttle. Make sure to let them know what time your flight is and they will set up the shuttle.
