Sound isolation was pretty bad, you can hear people being loud in the hallways and the rooms next door. Hard to sleep with all the noise at all hours. Laundry is a joke with only 3 very small washers and dryers available which are almost always in use. One dryer didn’t even work at all on the floor we stayed on. Only good thing about this place is the location directly across the street from Taipei Main Station. Would probably look elsewhere next time.

We felt at home at HD Palace. We will definitely be back!

Have mix feelings. On one hand was the staff efficient and amazing . The room I had was old and needed renovating. Desk was broken and wobbly and furniture needing repair. Carpets were a bit worn as well. Luckily I was out most of the time, but the bed was firm and amazing. Water pressure was questionable. I don’t quite understand why so many people gave it such rave reviews.

The Tango Shilin is an excellent place for a long term stay in Taipei. It is very close to the metro with many dining options a short distance away

Great hotel in a very convenient location next to the mrt. The hotel is very clean and modern. There are great amenities in the room. Breakfast was included and pretty good. I highly recommend the tango!
