This is a great hotel to be at. Room is very clean, but what impressed me the most was the super-helpful housekeeping staff who goes above and beyond. She even offer to bring back for me a bowl of the best noodle in town on her lunch break. The hotel is only a few minutes’s walk to the beautiful Danang beach, It also has a pool but I never made it there because the beach is so close by. Security staff is also very friendly and helpful. There are a lot of convenient services offered by the hotel to attractions for a very reasonable price, which I wish I had taken advantage of while I was there. It would have saved me a tons of money.

The pool was inaccessible, the floor on the roof felt like you were going to fall through. The breakfast was horrible, everything was cold, the food was put out but left to get cold, the coffee came out ice cold and put on burners, it was not geared to the western tourist. I will never recommend this hotel or return to it.

Room on floor 12 is noisy early in the morning

My suite on floor 12 is right below the dinning room floor so every morning around 6AM I was woken up by the moving chairs from the breakfast cround. There is comparable suite to change to since the other suite on floor 11 is a smoking room.

Nice hotel two blocks from the beach

I booked 4 rooms for a trip with my wife's family from Tay Ninh. I had a suite which included a soaking tub which my wife and her family had never seen or used before. This surprised me but they enjoyed the experience. The hotel is modern and clean with a great breakfast buffet. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly with a working knowledge of English.

Great rooms but more staff training needed

After staying in Hue with excellent service this was a bit of a shock. Sent two emails asking about pick up service with no response so rang to be told they didn't do that. Information in the lift and room book said we could have coffee to our room but apparently the cafe was closed and no alternative was offered. The breakfast options were good but although there were 4 staff in the room all they did was clear the tables after people left and made no offers of assistance. When we left the woman at reception held our passports until we had paid for the one beret from the bar fridge (that we had told her about). Customer service is normally fantastic in Vietnam and I just felt as though nearly all the staff needed some training.

Hotel reception had minimal to zero grasp of English, it was difficult to get any service out of them, for example, ask for suggestions. Basically you are on your own on the days you are staying in da nang. They will not suggest or book tours for you, for example to hoi an etc. As a side note, Make sure not to book ma Linh taxi for your trip to hoi an (hotel may call ma Linh when you ask for taxi) as they will charge you an extra free for every house they "wait" for you on your two-way trip. On my checkout, hotel staff said I haven't paid for all the nights I stayed. Had to prove to him the email from hotels.com and after a few minutes of checking, he said ok. Felt like I could've been scammed if I wasn't insistent about already paying. Overall, not a friendly hotel with very minimal service offered.

Hotel in Strandnähe mit kleinem Dachpool

Ich habe insgesamt 4 Nächte in der "Suite with Sea View" auf der 12. Etage verbracht, mit tollem Blick aufs Meer. Das Zimmer ist ziemlich groß, das Flachbild-TV hat viele englische Sender. Das Bett ist bequem, das Zimmer und Badezimmer sind sauber. Ich hatte eine schöne Badewanne, aber das Wasser war leider nicht heiß, nur warm. Es gibt ein Frühstücksbuffet (überwiegend auf asiatische Gäste gerichtet: fried rice, fried noodles, soup, spring rolls, Omlet, etc.), wenn genug Gäste im Hotel sind, ansonsten bekommt man nur fried rice / fried noodles und Omlet. Es gibt auf dem Dach einen kleinen Pool, aber keine richtige Dachterrasse zum Sitzen oder Liegen. Das Personal spricht nur wenig Englisch. Meine Tours habe ich im Nachbarhotel La Lune gebucht, mit großartigen Preisen.
