I really enjoyed my 3-night stay at Sincerity Hotel. It is located about 5min drive from Old Town in a growing but quiet area. A short ride from an overly crowded Old Town as well as the beach. Perfect if you want to have a relaxing time away from all the tourist sites. The rooms and amenities are nice. The gym is adequate if you want to squeeze in a workout. However it can get really warm even with the AC maxed out. But hey, you're in Vietnam. The pool area is clean and perfect for a refreshing dip after coming back from an outdoor adventure, or just standing still outside under the blazing sun for 10 min. The free bikes are good for exploring the countryside. It is a short ride to the Old Town, the beach, and Tra Que village. Make sure to go through the rice paddies for the beautiful views. Bikes can be a bit old but there are plenty to choose from. What I liked best about Sincerity was the service. Phoebe did a great job welcoming us on the first day. Flora was attentive and made sure our stay was flawless. My first night there, we were in a room next to the stairs and unfortunately the neighbors were not the most considerate. They kept slamming their front doors the whole night. I voiced my concern the following morning and Flora immediately looked for another room for us. She apologized and had us moved into another room after we came back from lunch, with a free upgrade! No more loud neighbors and I slept like a baby the following nights.

I had booked the Hoian Sincerity Hotel & Spa due to its good reviews that actually seemed too good to be true. Being there for 6 days I was amazed to find out they are true indeed. The hotel is located a little bit off the busy main road. It has a nice spa area with an outdoor pool and an adjoining vegetable/herb garden which invites to explore. Entering the modern and big lobby gives you already the feeling to be at the right place. The staff is extreme friendly, helpful and professional. The room I got was nice and spacious. It had a balcony and a good working free Wi-Fi. The beds are very comfortable, the air conditioner worked fine too and the shower had really hot water. On the top of it everything was extremely clean. The breakfast buffet is just awesome with a huge choice of fresh and tasty food. The location of the hotel was ideal – at least for me - right between town and beach. As an alternative to the free shuttle rides the hotel provides free bicycles if one does not want to keep up with the schedule or wants to explore the surrounding area. Thus one can enjoy half day at the beach, it takes 12 minutes by bicycle to a spot away from the crowd. Back in the late afternoon the shuttle brings you to Hoi An in a 5 minutes ride. Even walking back at night (20 min) is no problem if you do not want to take a taxi or motorbike. Special thanks to Suri, Enri and Kelly. It was always a pleasure to talk to them. For me the only complain I had was that time goes by so fast.

We were in Hoi An for 3 days and were a bit surprised when we arrived and the hotel seemed a bit far from either the town or beach. After getting settled we realized that town is an easy 8 minute bike ride. The bikes are free to use. Also, there is a shuttle into town and to the beach. Very convenient! Inside our huge room, fresh fruit and water were awaiting us. It would have been hard to leave our super comfortable beds, except knowing that we had an amazing breakfast awaiting us every morning, that was included. The pool was also very nice especially in the hot weather. The best thing about this hotel were all the extra little touches, the notes from the kitchen with cookies on your bedside table, the free use of bikes, the recommendations on where to eat and things to do, welcome juice and towels. It was nice to have people paying so much attention to detail in order to make our stay enjoyable. We really appreciated the service.
