We booked a room that included the executive lounge. Good things: Miss NgAn from the lounge at the 21 floor gave us friendly and professional / excellent service, her English and communication skills are great. The food at the lounge is great. Bad things: Upon arrival we were taken to the lounge at 21 floor for check in which was nice, then we were assigned a room at the 17 floor. When we enter the room it had a very strong mildew / smoke smell and the room was old /worn down, the view was a very nice bridge view. We called 0 and to let them know about the terrible smell, after an hour and 2 more calls they finally sent the bellmen with new keys, we were given a room at floor 20, the room at floor 20 (2005) didn’t have a smell however the view was city view / not nice view. We were disappointed because to resolve our issue they downgraded us :( Bad things: the location, it’s remote you must take a taxi everywhere, they don’t offer a shuttle to / from the airport, to the beach or downtown.

Overall experience was bad as the service during our wedding ceremony on 13 Jan 2018 (Nhat - Trang) was under our expectation. We expected at the 5-star hotel, the food must be served properly, but in reality both food quality and services were disappointing. The below are our comments - the food quality was terrible, far below sample food we tasted a day before - red carpet to the stage Unevenly laid off, the bride near miss twice to the stage - follow light directed to face of bride-groom, parents of bride-groom, dazzled our eyes - loud giant speakers were placed too close to guest tables, some guests were deaf after ceremony - dirty bowl was not replaced in time, mixed up clean and dirty bowl, plates on tables - resposiveness of staff was very poor - preparation before event, lack of coordination, requests were repeated many times, staff often blame each other, not helpful and uncourteous overall - bride - groom was not well instructed, on the stage, lack of guidance and supports - banquet sales executive Urgently asked bride - groom the agenda weeks ago without passing through MC, we had to work through again a day before event. Preferred music band was not booked but she did not inform us - We are disappointed the way the staff handled our feedback. Most of the staff didn't respond or didn't do it properly. They didn't seem to know what to do or tried to avoid feedback. When we told a manager our comments when checking out he didn't perceive them properly but quickly said they were not related to his area of service and hope we would use their service again. We spent a fortune for our once in the life time wedding and get extremely disappointed. They hadn't even tried to rectify the issues and already wanted to make more sales!?!

Very large hotel in a 22 floors modern building nicely situated on an island of the HÀN River, not far from the city center or the beach. The rooms are of quite a high standard with all necessary facilities available, as should be expected from a five stars hotel. Provided one is a member of the Accord loyalty program, the check in then takes place in their "Lounge" on the 21st floor, (Far away from the "madding crowd".)......... which is rather convenient. Complimentary drinks and breakfasts are also available in this exclusive place. But what is quite OUTSTANDING, is the quality and the high professionalism of most of the staff, the reception hostesses in particular. A special word of compliment for Lan, one of the waitress in the lounge who welcomes you with such a great smile, remarkable dedication and her own personal touch. A shuttle service is available for rides to the city center as well as for the sea front. Overall an Grand experience at reasonable price.

Its hard to top what I have read here, but my experience of this wonderful 5 Star property tops all my hotel experiences in what is now my favourite holiday destination. The property itself is dazzling and the people that work there delightful and professional and make you feel they love having you there. The rooms, amenities, the position, views, impeccable presentation and passion for hospitality and guest comfort are without doubt truly world class. And then there's the food and beverages. Absolutely scrumptious and served with love and great pride. It feels like all the staff really love what they do and want their guests to leave smiling and to hurry back; a credit to those that lead and train them. I will hurry back!

Recently I've had the chance to stay here with my partner for 2 weeks.. and i can say this has been our best stay during any of travels..i have to make an exception of the duty manager Mr Can..he couldn't do enough to help.. incl forward stays in asia including flight reservations for us! He made sure we were comfortable and was genuinely concerned about our forward stays..no matter was too small nor too big for him to address on our behalf..thank you Can😁and off course kheit the exec chef who looked after our culinary needs & befriended us.. too many exceptional & helpful staff members to mention..we'd def stay again and can i recommend the privilege club..well worth the little extra! Congratulations grand mercure danang you've made us happy and more than satisfied customers😀

My partner and i have had the privilege of a 2 week stay here...i can't compliment this place and it's staff enough..the english levels vary from basic to excellent..one in point being mr can the duty manager at front desk the most amazing customer service we've so far come across in traveling.. he can't help enough..assisted us with forward bookings & stays incl flights! He went well beyond & above the call of duty for us..all the staff just to scrape the surface tam chi viet dat ngan Lan marion in F & B and off kheit the exec chef who befriended us & looked after us just to name a few...we would def stay here in the future..only an inexpensive taxi trip away from everything although the grand provides a free return shuttle service to major destinations in the nearby area. Good work grand mercure you have made these travellers very happy & satisfied.

Grand mercure danang is the best hotel I have ever stayed.. the hotel have very good view from high. My room is comfortable and the services here was great.. the staffs are pro and the girl standing by the door name dung so good. I was experienced shutter bus to go to Han market and danang beach. I have just 1 word to describe " best". I will come back definitely.

We stayed at this well managed hotel at quiet island on Han River. The rooms are tastefully done and the service of Privilege Lounge is excellent. Our server Lan at the Privilege Lounge is very hard working, constantly checking to be sure we get everything we need. I have been a Gold and Platinum Accor member for 7 years now and this property is a cut above the other Accor hotels we stayed in.

We stayed for two nights and received an upgrade in room type and free access to the privilege lounge. The host from hotel, Ms.Thảo was a real professional, showing us her passion and enthusiasm. She was nice and introduced us to places with great food and interesting. The view from our room was great with full view of Cầu Trần Thị Lý. Besides, It was one of the best lounge I have visited with plenty of choice of snacks and drinks. Service was excellent too. Complimentary shuttle service makes our trip more convenient. It was one of my best hotel experience and I wish to have chances to visit it again!

I was attracted by so friendly staffs especially name dung doorgirl. She helped me alot during my stay here. Everything in hotel i really lost my words it's amazing. I give the hotel high review. If you find for yourselt a good hotel. Grand mercure is the best choice
