Wonderful little boutique hotel situated in the government protected Tra Que organic vegetable gardens. The surrounding environment is very tranquil, a perfect remedy after the chais of Ho Chi Minh city. The managers Mr and Mrs P are perfect and attentive hosts who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The plot for the hotel is small and they have managed to creatively include a welcoming swimming pool maintained with natural salts rather than chlorine. This does offer a slight down side as the space struggles to accommodate a hotel that is full of guests. We had the hotel to ourselves for a lot if our stay which was fantastic, but when a large group of local tourists arrived the weekend there was s lot of noise. The owner and management tried to mitigate by moving us to the smaller of the two blocks and not let the rooms around us which we were grateful for the attempt, but if was still noisy. I think it’s mainly down to the differences in Western and Asian culture and expectations about a holiday break.
