We were very pleased with this hotel. The location is great, across from one of the markets and about a 10-15 minute walk in to the main square. We felt very safe walking around and never needed a cab to get anywhere. The restaurant in the hotel was good too, we had lunch the day we arrived and on another day we arrived very late in the evening and had dinner there. The rooms were clean and spacious. They have 110 and 220 current as well as American outlets. We sent our laundry out once and while it was a bit pricey, it came back later that evening as promised. The staff was pleasant, and there were water bottles in our room each day.
Dec/2017- we stayed here on 2 separate occasions while touring Peru. The rooms were large, bright, well maintained. Hotel staff attentive/caring.Marcos in restaurant was helpful and shared his extensive knowledge of the city, linking culture and historical attractions/events. Buffet breakfast had many options both hot and cold. Great location for both markets and historical sites. Safe location. Dinner menu had many options and the food was inexpensive and very good.
We were staying at the hotel and choose to stay in that night due to weather so we tried the restaurant. It was a pleasant atmosphere and the fish swimming in the coy pond were fun to watch. We had alpaca for the first time, it kinda tastes like beef. It was attractively present and was tasty. My favorite moments of the night were the delicious pisco sours and our interactions with our server Abelardo!
Looks good on the web page photo but our room was totally inside with no view.We had a window that looked out onto the lobby on the ground floor so the curtains had to be kept closed at all times. No tea, coffee, tissues or air con.If warm weather the room would have been unbearable. Situated in a busy area with a 15min walk to the main square which was pretty in the evening. Hotel restaurant was excellent,a good choice of meals with excellent wine all at a good price.
My wife and I stayed at this hotel as part of a group at the end of a recent trip to Machu Picchu. Because of that, I don't know about some of their services, but the location is great, only a 15-20 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas, the center of Cuzco. The hotel was immaculate, the room were spacious and clean. Breakfast was included and had a good selection both days. We ate dinner there one evening as well and the food and service were excellent, especially our waiter, Abelardo. He was pleasant, professional and very much focused on us having a great dining experience!
Hotel was fabulous. Clean, quiet, near shopping and within walking distance to Main Square. Oxygen available if needed. Buffet breakfast had variety and enough to satisfy the picky eater. I wasn’t familiar with the fact you had to insert your room card to activate the electricity. That would have been nice if the front desk would have mentioned it.
It is a good place to stay when in Cusco. We found the check out time of 0900 unusual but the staff were flexible in revising this to 11 am. Rooms are fine but do not expect a view form the hotel although there is a fountain in front of hotel. Central location makes it easier to get around for sight seeing. The meals in restaurant were fine but staff speak Spanish, minimal English can cause difficulties. Overall staff are helpful.
Nice hotel wishing walking distance to the main square and shopping in Cusco. The rooms are a good size, although the furniture is very cheap. But the bed was comfortable. The food at breakfast was plentiful with a good variety. The staff was professional and friendly.
This hotel wasn't far from the city center. 4 blocks. the bed was comfortable, shower was awesome. you get free breakfast. I went with my boyfriend and we had separate beds, bc they were huge beds. It was a good stay
We spent 4 nights here and would definitely recommend it. Great location on the Main Street opposite the craft market and about 10 minutes stroll to the main square. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with lovely bedding and a nice bathroom. Breakfasts were fine with plenty of choice. We ate dinner here once as we were too tired to go out (which we would normally do) and the food was exceptional - way better than I would expect in this sort of place (I would expect it to be reasonably good quality but fairly unexciting) - really delicious. There was a great live band playing Peruvian music in the dining room too. There was a lovely spa in the hotel where I had a facial and my husband had a massage as he had a bad back and that was also really good Would definitely recommend this place
