We stayed at this hotel for a week and loved every minute of it. The location is amazing - overlooking the small harbor and sea, and to the right a lighthouse on a small island - postcard beautiful. The staff were friendly and always professional - I loved that housekeeping never once knocked on our door to hurry us up in the morning. We never ate dinner in the dining room, but had the breakfast- am amazing selection for the start of the day.I cant wait to go back!
Our stay at the Cliff House was phenomenal. The service from the incredible staff made the visit even more memorable, as they will tend to your every need with a big smile. Our first night we enjoyed in-room dining, which was a real treat for they made it seem like our room was a table in a restaurant. They did not merely drop off the food and run, they brought us our individual courses, cleared our plates in between, and made sure we had all that we needed. The room was gorgeous. We stayed in a suite with two balconies and an enormous en suite bathroom and living room. Perfect for lounging and relaxing, and we woke up to the most amazing view each morning. This hotel is off the beaten path, but worth the visit for peace and relaxation.
Great history to this wonderful inn that dates back to the Norman period. No TV in the room adds to the charm and forced relaxation by just enjoying the beautiful location in southwest Ireland. Will return.
Great B&B. Joe was the perfect host. Room was better than a NY hotel. Food and service were superb.
