All the staff were great, very friendly and exceptionally helpful. The room was cleaned to a high standard every day. There were several quiet corners to sit in but still feel part of the hotel. The food was excellent with a wide choice. The bar area was very comfortable and the staff exceptional. Access to the car park was simple with plenty of space.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Sir Walter Raleigh Hotel. It’s a gorgeous setting and our room looked right out over the water, such a view! Staff were lovely and breakfast was spot on. The room was on the smaller side, and the window could do with replacing as the bottom panel spoiled the view a little, plus we noticed some traffic noise in the mornings. But honestly, those are tiny things compared to how much we loved it here. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel has parking at the rear excellent location just a stone throw away from the beach. The staff are very friendly and informative of the area. Breakfast was plenty full. The bed was very comfortable.

This is the third year we have stayed at The Walter Raleigh Hotel. As always the staff were fantastically friendly and the food in the restaurant was superb. The rooms are comfortable with all the facilities you would expect from a hotel of this standard. This will certainly not be our last visit, I can highly recommend it.

It was a disappointment from waiting over ten minutes without acknowledgment to check in through being made to feel like we were an inconvenience by turning up. It could be a great hotel if they took pride in training their staff and to removing debris around the hotel
