Despite making a booking which should have let the hotel know I had mobility issues, the otherwise adequate room had no grab handle to get into the bath/shower. The shower wasn't safe for me. If you don't want to eat in a Macdonald's then the alternative is Costa. Good enough for breakfast but we drove to Kendal for dinner. The lady in Reception was very helpful.

If anyone is staying you should know there is only a costa coffee or McDonald's for food. Remember to bring some spare tea or coff but there is probably more if requested. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bath needs some attention around the plus as its very rusty. The view was exceptional across the lakes with lots of house martins nesting in the eves.
