Holiday getaway

Beautiful views and great property. Just be careful if arriving after dark as it is very tricky to find the home as gps does not do a very good job.

We had a great time at this lake house. This home is in immaculate shape and offers so much. It's a great, quiet location and they have everything you need especially if you have young children. The hosts were very informative and responsive. This was our first visit to Smith Lake and we not only plan to go back but we plan to try to rent this same house again!

Lake Vacation

We had a blast at this location. The house is new, clean, and came very well stocked with kitchen supplies. We loved the outdoor entertainment space and paddle boards. We brought our own boat and had plenty of room to keep it under the boat house. Highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful Family Vacation

The hosts, the house, the view of the lake were all amazing. The pictures of the house are exactly what you see. Andy the host was very responsive. The kitchen had everything you needed which was a plus. We’ve stayed in many rentals and I can say this one was the best. Views of water at sunset and sunrise were just beautiful. Would definitely stay there again.

Gorgeous Home and Great Location!

We had a fantastic week at Cookies Lake House! The home is lovely, and well appointed with anything you might need including water toys, kids toys, and child proof safety features. We had a 17 month old with us and the pack-n-play, changing table, and highchair were a huge help. The beds were very comfortable and our family of 11 had plenty of room. The owners were great to work with and very accommodating. This is a top notch rental and we hope to enjoy it again!

Great Spaces

We enjoyed the location (very convenient from I65), and there were many different spaces to gather, sit and watch the sun go down, grill, relax, or plunge into Smith Lake from the boat dock. We used one of the hosts recommendations and had a pontoon boat conveniently delivered to the boat dock. Great week, Joseph

Amazing week getaway

Had a great week at this VRBO! Check in process was easy, and smooth- house was beautifully aquatinted, felt homey, and very spacious. The photos online do not just do a justice!! We got locked out of the home once and Andy immediately called us to resolve the issue and was fixed it with a blink of an eye. 10/10 would recommend and we will definitely be back to Camp Cookie!!

Perfection!

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The house is not far from the interstate, so location was easy. The house has a great layout and plenty of room. The walk down to the water/dock is short and easy. And the pool is stunning and wonderful for children, even our little who can’t swim as it’s zero entry and has a large wading section. This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay! Thanks for sharing your house with us!

Good time

Nice place very close to neighbors good boat dock house is set up well but not truck and trailer friendly I managed but it was a chore All in all it was a good place we had a lot of fun if you have small children this house is set up for them. Pool is not user friendly if you walk you will have a hike up a hill or need a golf cart or your vehicle. Would stay here again

This house has everything, literally. Kitchen is well supplied with utensils and cookware. House has various floats and paddle boards and kayaks and water equipment to use off the very large swim platform which also has a swim ladder. Has a gas grill which we used heavily, and we did not use the green egg, but could have. We had two grandparents, two married with their spouses and one single adult children, and 3 grandchildren staying here. Plenty of very comfortable sleeping space and bathroom shower facilities. Dock arrangement is excellent for parking a boat and laying out equipment and tubes for various levels and types of on the water activities. 120V Power at dock for blowing up tubes etc. View of lake is excellent...the cove is a no wake zone but it is not far to open water for skiing activities which can still be very adequately viewed from the decks at the house...like grandparents watching young kids learning to ski...no problem at all. Plenty of deck chairs and recliners and tables. Smith Lake is very clean, matching its reputation. Boat launch and marina with no ethanol 90 or 91 fuel are about 20 minutes away driving in car or boat. During week, lake is not super busy, picks up Friday night thru weekend as expected, but still satisfactory. Above the house at top of hill rests a 3 story condo building, which provides a great land mark to identify the cove where this house and dock are. Cell phone service is adequate on the lake.

Fishing and Boating Trip

Property had a great location, easy access to dock, very clean. House was well stocked, they thought of all the little details. Thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space. Brought our own boats to fish and wakesurf, had calm deep water, tied up to the dock, and took multiple trips out on the water. Enjoyed our stay and would return in the future.
